For example, Giuliani said that the team plans to demand to see what evidence Special Counsel Robert Mueller has on Trump, and to take a hard line on the boundaries of a potential sit down between the two.
leaving this here
Iāve always thought Giuliani was a phony that rode on the achievements of others so this empty blather doenāt surprise me. Mueller is under no obligation to answer any questions from Rudy. Nor can Rudy direct the investigation Muellerās heading. Just like he rode on the achievements of those that did dig NYC out of the 9/11 mess ( which Rudy actually made worse ) heās working the inevitable conclusion of Muellerās investigation to portray it as his doing. I have a visceral dislike for Trump. It makes me happy a quack like Rudyās on his team.

Iām not a lawyer, but Iām pretty darn sure thatās not how it worksā¦
I know this is a narrow-sighted view, but my heart sinks from the prospect of having to hear from Giuliani more often.
Giuliani always talks as if he is in charge. Let us know how that works out for you.
What he seems to be indicating, as he stands atop his hill of rhetorical rubble, is that Trump will sit down for an interview. If itās a max of 2 to 3 hours, Trump will only perjure himself a few dozen times.
Iām a layman, but while discovery is a weird process, Rudy needs to use his āindoor voiceā when it comes to demanding things.

Nice one.
A little late for that Rudy. Let me let you in on a little secret. Mueller doesnāt need to talk to you. He doesnāt care whether he interviews Trump or not. Heās just putting that out there to f**k with him (and you).
What Mueller is going to do is use the evidence he has compiled to indict the whole crew, starting with every individual and business entity directly mentioned or referenced by implication in all of the āquestionsā published by the NYT.
Through that process of indictment, guilty pleas, testimony and convictions, heāll already have a compelling case to indict Trump for violating multiple federal crimes. Iāll bet the GJ is just chomping at the bit. The great thing about it is that these are going to be pretty easy crimes to prove in court. Itās not esoteric stuff. Once you guys challenge this indictment, Mueller will lay his stack of evidence at SCOTUSā desk and say, āIāve got all of this evidence. I dare you to say that he shouldnāt stand trial. Either this court believes in the principle that no one is above the law or it doesnāt.ā
At that point, youāre boy Trump is gonna need a lot more Depends. Heās going to offer to resign at that point in exchange for an agreement not to prosecute. But Mueller will say, āTough shit. Youāre goinā down like Gottiā.
I just heard an insider claim that Rudy Giuliani imagines himself to have the same legal stature as Robert Mueller and thatās how he sold himself to the Trump team. Canāt think of anything to say except, āha, ha, ha, ha, ha.ā

No respect from his client. Probably didnāt even get paid. Sad!
So did Whitey Bulger get to limit the questions and time of grilling?
45 years ago I was an infantryman and damn good at it. Iāve a box full of medals to prove it. Rudy was an attorney 35 years ago. Iām comfortable saying you sure as shit wouldnāt want me getting your back in a firefight today just as you damn sure wouldnāt want Rudy on your legal team.
