Sadly, that won’t happen until a Republican is elected president again. The R party will never intentionally allow any thing to happen so long as they aren’t in complete control.

This is the legislature America voted for. The only conclusion is that the electorate is undereducated or insane.

I choose to hope for the former which, with patience, can be remedied.

If she wasn’t a sitting justice, she would have stated bluntly that many of the the abortion restrictions violate the Equal Protection clause. She made the same point without revealing a pre-judgement in legal terms.

RBG is the shit because she’s real and isn’t hiding some personal agenda like her wingnut counterparts.
The hidden purpose of Roberts, Scalia and Alito are like something out of the free masons handbook. You gotta belong to be in the know and once you are infected by the knowledge, there is no way out, on two feet anyways.

Ruth Ginsburg is a woman for the people, small in stature but large in her presence.

She’s a smart one, that RBG. Women of means will always be able to get a legal abortion. Women without means…not so much. But she knew that without it having to be said.

Exactly, even if Roe were overturned, it would just mean that women living in blue states would continue to have access to abortions while women in red states would have to travel for the procedure. That’s no big deal if you’re a poor women living in Gary, IN where IL is just a hop, skip, and a jump. However, if you’re a poor woman living in AL, you’re screwed*. And who are these women of means? GOP voters who “don’t believe in abortion” except when they need one.

*To be fair, if you’re poor and you’re living in Gary or AL, you’re pretty freakin’ screwed already.
