If you know anything at all about Churchill, the comparison is not too far off the mark in many areas. Churchill was a racist and born into wealth and privilege. He had contempt for the working class and the poor. He unleashed brutal violence against the striking Welsh miners.
Churchill did have intelligence and a very sharp wit.Trump is no Churchill in that respect. Oh yeah, and Churchill joined the military.

When I first read this I thought okay at least that explains the weirdly awkward poses and faces Trump often does. He’s doing cosplay, basically.
And yes, the aspiration makes perfect sense for Trump, even if he only achieves a clownish caricature of who he’s emulating:

As soon as I read the headline, I just knew that would be the case. He took naps because he was up half the damn night working. PP is up half the night rage tweeting. He really is like a spoiled teenager on summer break. He’s just sitting around shoveling food in his mouth and picking fights on social media. Ahh, thanks for the reminder. Gingrich is one of those ineffable characters who were once intelligent (or at least intelligible) but now is just trotted out by the faux media to present an irrational soundbite with predictable bravado. He deserves to be tossed back where faux found him, on the trash heap of history.

Comparing Trump to Churchill is absurd. If you know anything about Churchill he stayed up all night writing almost every night. I could mention he spent a lot of time in the bathtub and with a glass in his hand but that didn’t take away from the fact that he was a well known night owl who did his best work after 2:00 AM.
