I wonder how this affects a business’s liability premiums? If one employee accidentally shoots another is it a Workman’s Comp issue? Would removing your gun from its holster or storage container in the presence of another employee when no outside aggression was present constitute harassment or a menacing threat? What if you claimed personal possession and/or carrying of a gun violated the tenets of your religion? If so and you were fired your company has just terminated you for adhering to a religious belief, a definite no-no in the South.
My friend was a public relations officer for a DA in Arizona. The DA, when he came into office, decided he would mandate concealed carry by his staff. Until the insurance company got hold of him. That requirement went away like lightening.

I would expect an insurance agent to understand the concept of liability.
He says most of his employees are women and I don’t recall any women being workplace shooters, so he might be relatively safe from disgruntled employee shootings, but accidental shootings happen everyday, again the bulk of them are men, but we can always hope…no that wouldn’t be right, would it?
