The guy is an insurance agent!!!

For aviation. That’s a very specific sub section. I’d be surprised if he knows anything else at all about insurance. States govern insurance lines very differently.

And possibly have some rudimentary understanding of risk analysis. But the lizard brain will have its way, I guess.

Still. The concepts of risk and liability are common to all kinds of insurance. (Medical Insurances is a different animal)

I think the nut-jobs have forgotten that this type of fetishism was just supposed to have been a way to troll liberals, but it’s taken on a life of its own.

Ironically its insurance that robs its customers. Who does he think will rob an insurance office and of what? Plus I doubt that wienie could handle a controlled 2nd shot with that gun. A .410 shotgun shell going off in a handgun is massive and stupid.

And what would happen if an employee refused to carry?

Engineer to boss: I’ve got an idea. Why don’t we make a snub nosed revolver that fires .410 shotshells?

Boss: I don’t know. Who would buy that? And what for?

Engineer: Yeah, you’re right. It was just a thought.

Marketing guy: Now, hold on fellas …

I hope so.

Target practice… except s/he is the target.

It depends on how the state controls it. Property and casualty is typically one line (aviation) while risk retention is another (insuring risk) while medical is another. It just depends. I think he’ll get quite surprised at how his general liability insurance responds to this because it’s not the same as property.

My dad has a double barrel .410 pistol. It’s difficult to fire accurately and has an effective range of maybe 15 feet. Beyond that, the shot spreads out and likely wouldn’t kill anyone. It’s a weapon made for men with small penises because it sounds and looks badass.

I guess this job creator doesn’t realize how ungrateful plebeians are, and fails to notice that the person they are most likely to shoot is him.

Luckily that 410 gun is unlikely to kill him, although a properly placed shot might make him qualify for the Vienna Boys Choir.

ā€œā€¦to mandate gun ownership and be licensed and be responsibleā€ā€¦

You can mandate a license. Responsibility, one the other hand…

Well, he is in the insurance industry, so one would think he might have clue. But insuring private toys for the rich isn’t the same as business liability. I suspect he is going to cough up a lung when he sees what it does to his premiums.

But its a small company, and he sounds like the type of fool that would do it anyway. And probably the same sort of guy that is screaming Obamacare is putting him out of business.

Yeah–I read somewhere that guns do not like to be cleaned and will go off during the process.

Female employees don’t like to be groped and when required to be armed they tend to go off during the process, too.

Go to work with Mom or Day day would be fun. Mix a bunch of kids in an office full of guns and watch hilarity ensue. Just like in the trailer parks!!!

There is that— they may mix up gun and weapon… You know how women are.
