It’s a horror story to consider how many lives were lost and treasure squandered for the Bushes to work out their Oedipal issues. While this new book demonstrates that the work is apparently unfinished, thankfully Jebbie is not up to the task of winning the job in order to continue the tragedy.

This Bio’s timing couldn’t be better for Jeb! It’ll be nice to have the media once again focus on Miserable Failure and his administration and appointees. Particularly now that he’s relying on him at his campaign stops.

Yeah, “W” was shit-for-brains doormat, and Cheney was a power hungry sociopath. I’m pretty sure us evil liberals had that all figured out from the get-go.
Some vindication in all of this though, in that daddy Bush acknowledges it. I still firmly believe that history is going to see the Cheney/Rove (errr…Bush) administration as one of, if not our worst administrations in our history.

Actually, I think Cheney is also a tremendous physical coward and the evidence suggests that he totally panicked and reacted from physical terror after 9/11–before turning it to corporate oligarchs’ greedy advantage.

Amen to that. And the last two GOP nominee’s were looking to do the same thing, as if running the nation is some sort of psychiatrist’s couch for them to work out their Daddy issues. McCain has wanted to show his father and grandfather that he was better than just being an Admiral…he wanted to be Commander in Chief. Romney was running to show Daddy that he could WIN the Presidency that Daddy lost, and just to prove how much better he was, he refused to show his taxes…a precedent his father actually started.

Poppy Bush is a “little late to the garden party” (much like McNamara and his “late in life” doubts and conversion on Vietnam) and the nation paid an awful price. He remained silent, for God’s sake!! Elder Bush wants three things: 1. To “get right” with his Maker. 2. Provide political cover for Jeb and the whole family. 3. Market and sell books. Shameful, shameful, shameful!!
