Hmmmmmmmmm…am I the only one who thinks her chances are not good?
Isn’t she the same person that went over to Syria and thought we should support Assad too? Uh, yeah. Her judgement is pretty fucked up on many issues and she won’t get my vote if she runs. They may like her in her district in Hawaii, but a lot of Dems find her to be seriously lacking who doesn’t bother to consider the consequences of her positions. Btw, she also opposed TPP. She’s a horrible candidate in my opinion.
Even if we believe her change is heartfelt, having once held these positions show a lack of foresight and character that is incompatible with being the Democratic nominee. A strong no. Next.
But…but…but…she turned against Hillary Clinton and endorsed Bernie. Butter emails.

Second thought, after reading up on her…yeah that’s a hard pass.
It’s one thing to have opposed SSM 10-15 years ago, then have a change of heart and apologize. That’s the story of virtually every mainstream Dem. It’s another to have worked for an organization that actively fought against it.

This is the problem with “Democrats” raised in Republican households, they retain what they learned as young children. I do believe people can change but it takes a long long time and a lot of work to overcome some things. We have enough good people who have Democratic backgrounds to lead the party.
Just waiting for Nina Tuner to get in the race and split the Bernie vote 3 ways…

There appear to be good reasons to question her judgment and maturity.
She doesn’t seem to have any national following, so without the help of Russian active measures amplified by “liberals” and disaffected Bernie Bros. who supported the likes of Ed Snowden, Glenn Greenwald, and Jill Stein, I don’t see her getting any traction.
What is she even doing in the Democratic party? It appears she has a total(itarian) GOP mindset.

She was very young at the time and clearly influenced by her extremist father. If she has evolved since then I can’t quite bring myself to condemn her on that particular score. Plenty of others though.
Somehow I see this one ending up with her coming out of the closet, having been repressed by a severely controlling father…

Dems will have so many candidates, most of whom are unknown to nearly everyone, they will confuse the entire country as to what they really stand for and what policies are priorities and how each differs from the other. This primary cycle will be a huge mess until an obvious candidate emerges. One ticket that seems to have a chance is Biden/Beto. The DNC better not conspire with some establishment candidate as it did when it sabotaged Bernie’s campaign in favor of HRC.

Don’t forget that she resigned as vice chair of the DNC in 2016 to support Sanders, and gave fuel to the “Bernie wuz robbed!” myth.
