Most likely all that’s going on is that a ghost writer is writing a book in her name and she wants to promote the book. That was the case with some of the gop candidates the last time around.

Do we really want another President with zero empathy? Even as a kid I kinda, sorta, knew maybe that everybody were not treated fairly, and that was wrong. That never stopped me from hating the Irish and Italian kids though.

The polite interpretation of Tulsi Gabbard is that she’s a grade-A wacko. The less polite interpretation is that she’s our own Rohrabacher.

In her defense, all Catholic kids get raised this way especially if they participate in Catholic youth groups. Including myself…of course I then left the church in reaction to all the hate the youth ministers tried to teach us.

But… I don’t believe her. I think there are lots of hints that reveal that she remains a bigot.

It’s telling to see the same people who lost their shit when journalists reported on Beto O’Rourke’s very anti-Democratic voting record as somehow doing Putin’s dirty work are now cheering the same practice against Tulsi Gabbard. I guess hypocrisy isn’t just for Republican’ts. Also, how soon people forget that the Clintons and Barack Obama also “evolved” on the issue at hand…

No representative has ascended directly from the House to the Presidency in over 130 years. Neither Gabbard nor O’Rourke threaten to end that record.
