Run Al, Run!! Please!
And fuck you AP for the second time this morning.
But some arenāt buying it.
( quotes rapeuglican)
I was just coming to comment on the bothsiderism of having to quote a concern troll from the grab-em party.
yeah, I came here to say, "gee, letās close the article with a āsome sayā by the Republican strategist operative WTF.
Oh, and while weāre at it, letās call the anger some feel at how Gillibrand and Schumer threw Franken under the bus āremorseā. That suggests that everyone was on board with it at the time.
Anybody that the troll Pawlenty is against, Iām for.
Youāve served your time, Senator Franken, time to get back into the ringā¦
I wonder what the quoted republican strategist would think about a serial cheater who also fucked porn stars while his wife was preggersā¦
Franken was set up by Roger Stone and others and Gillibrand and others fell right in line with their call for a public execution.
In this time as with all times, it must be remembered that not all crimes are capital crimes. Al Franken was executed for the equivalent of speeding. I will never condone bad behaviour but I can not I will never vote for anyone who proposes punishment without due process or perspective. That is looking at you, Gillibrand.
Something like?
Personally, Iād like to see Al come back. I believe in accountability but also redemption and proportional punishment.
the pilloring of AL FRANKEN was feminism run amokā¦that GILLEBRAND[?] and SHUMAR used this to get rid of competitionā¦interesting that they are both from NEW YORKā¦it would be great if one of these accused men demanded the accuser āprove itā.
Ugh Pawlenty is awful. I know every governor and senator sees a President in the mirror, but that bony goon was kidding himself more than most.
I hope Franken does test the waters. I would vote for him in a heartbeat. As for Gillibrand I would never vote for her, as for Schumer, in my opinion, heās as sleazy as Trump and just as chicken.
I rarely contribute to out of state campaigns, but I would pony up for Al in a heartbeat.
Iām not going to weigh in on Franken one way or another but getting the opinion of a republican strategist at the end of this article was so classic AP bullshit I couldnāt not say something. Iāve ceased to be stunned by such wanton hypocrisy, but sweet baby Jesus, that was a doozy!
What has Brian McClung, a Republican strategist who was spokesman for former GOP Gov. Tim Pawlenty said about the Pussy Grabber in Chief? Somebody needs to remind this flaming hypocrite that sauce is for goose and gander.
Never. Then Gillibrandās actions were, in your rubric, a ācapital crimeā?
I want to make sure weāre staying consistent in our framing here.
It was the ārighteousnessā of Gillibrand that got to me.
There was a BIG difference and NO, itās how āweā prove our āstreet credā by taking down persons on our own side. There were āplentyā of people who had done āreallyā bad stuff (I remember at least three congressmen who did not ārun for officeā again because āthatā was egregious stuff in ātheirā cases) but it was all on AL FRANKEN because he had a national footprint.
I āgetā that she was the person going all-in on the horrible military abuse problems. I just donāt think Al Franken was ever an egregious āstyleā in his case.
Absolutely, Roger Stone was involved. He is the king of Rat-F*#king. I called it early on.
OK Iāll agree but I also disagreeā¦ I very much like Al, howeverā¦ People can blame Gillibrand all they want but it comes down to the individual making a choice and Al choose to walk rather than fight and/or await an investigation. Sour grape and/or remorse for the poor decision lays at Frankenās doorstep no one else. What we have here is the destruction of a viable candidate in Gillibrand, nothing more, nothing less.
A truly viable candidate would have demanded an investigation, not a resignation.
