Discussion: Fox's Brit Hume Calls Out Cruz For Sparing Trump, But Attacking McConnell

Discussion for article #238821

But what Brit fails to note, is that no one, and I mean NO ONE, gives a rats fanny about Cruz and McConnell fueding . So, if Cruz thought he could dominate the news cycle he was wrong. And smarmy to boot.

The Republican primary has turned into an episode of Beverly Hills 90210. He said this and he said that. Oh my . now every ones talking about what he said. No policy , nothing to do with policy just name calling.

Last time I saw teahadding Confederate Hume was about 10 years ago and he was SNARLING at guests:

“Oh I know!!! There WERE NO weapons of mass destruction and the White House KNEW this all along!!” He was almost spitting with rage, and trying to stigmatize the foregoing as the most ridiculous and unpatriotic of ideas! Was flatly true, of course.

No time for Hume and no respect.

More proof of the internecine warfare within the Republican Party.
The ECHO CHAMBER has now turned it’s sights on The Trumpster because he scares the hell out of the Corporate side of the party (that controls the money and all the Media.)
They want him to sit down and shut up and support THEIR CHOICE (Jeb Bush.)
Along with Trump is now Ted Cruz, because he did not do as he was told.
The only thing the Republican Party demands more than respect to the Money is Loyalty to the Masters.

Hume points out that Cruz would not condemn Trump for the latter’s comments about McCain. And we all know how Hume railed against the Swift Boaters for attacking Kerry in 2008. Oh wait…

…hypocrisy is a mainstay of the conservative movement.

None of the commentary about Trump and his remarks about McCain are worth a damn until they finally recognize their own hypocrisy in attacking Kerry and Cleland, and Jed’s! relationship with a donor who was a Swift Boater.

But only in others. Especially the ones Roger Ailes wants to drop out of the race.

I notice Brit Hume is trying to do his best imitation of Mumbles from Dick Tracy. He’a almost as big a clown as Huckafuck, Carnival Cruz, and the always spotlighted, Trump de Rump.

In the wise words of a notable children’s author, If your give a mouse a cookie…You know the rest. What did these fools at Faux expect? At one time, all these freaks were boosted as very important mouthpieces for the Republican party and were paid as Faux News contributors.

You reap what you sow.

Hume didn’t refer to it, but there is the matter of Senate protocol directing that Senators not call out each other and the Majority Leader out on the Senate floor. Paragraph 2 of Senate Rule 19.

  1. No Senator in debate shall, directly or indirectly, by any form of words impute to another Senator or to other Senators any conduct or motive unworthy or unbecoming a Senator

“…even if that might be true because the chamber must carry out the illusion of having the best minds at work.”
