What else happens on April 15th?

He may be out of the race by then. March 2020 will be another brutal month for Bern.

Bernie still being a clueless, hypocritical dickhead, I guess. Quelle surpise.

The Town Hall is talking about April 15th 2019, not 2020 if iam reading it correctly.

Bernie will go on the network to validate the unique economic anxiety facing the white working class, and will take pot shots at the Democratic establishment. Heā€™ll get cheers and praise and then that voter base will turn around and vote for Trump. Seen this movie before. Wake me up when he has a new wrinkle.

Guess that is it but the wording of the TPM blurb doesnā€™t make that clear.

Itā€™s almost like Bernieā€™s role is one of chaos agent. Who could possibly benefit from having a chaos agent running amuck on our political system? :unamused:

Heā€™ll get asked about Bidenā€™s " #MeToo problem" also.

I think you are right, but had to go to external sources to verify. TPM dropped the ball here.

April 15 2019 makes a lot more sense for a campaign and primary crossover strategy.

Now one good thing thatā€™ll come from this is that heā€™ll be asked about his taxes (likely by Martha), but k.

Iā€™m taxing my brain, but canā€™t think of anything - maybe we can file this away and return to this question later?

Ah, Bernie, if your last ten years of tax returns arenā€™t ready to release, holding a town hall on - April 15th - might not be a good ideaā€¦

I donā€™t think he cares one way or the other, so I donā€™t think his motives matter. Itā€™s ultimately all about Bernie and nothing and no one else. Whether that unites or divides the party makes no never mind to him as long as it furthers his goal. Heā€™s a lot like PP in that regard. I donā€™t think he cares one way or the other whether he tears the country apart or brings it together as long as it benefits him.

Hmmmm, could be, but this is FOX and it wouldnā€™t surprise me if they either ā€œforgetā€ to ask about his taxes or let whatever bullshit answer he comes up with slide. They have as much of a vested interest in seeing his campaign do well as do in getting PP reelected.

Though itā€™s ā€œpot meets kettleā€, theyā€™ll ask him.

They might accept whatever answer that heā€™ll give em, but Nanny Conway needs a new ā€˜talking pointsā€™ sheet and theyā€™ll oblige her.

His supporters will be all over social media bitching & moaning about Democratic Party operatives asking questions as soon as someone asks about:

  • his taxes
  • getting rid of Obamacare as part of Medicare for All
  • his history of demeaning womenā€™s & other minorityā€™s issues/concerns as ā€œidentity politicsā€
  • his lack of control over the Bernie Bros
  • his gun votes
  • his rape novel
  • his lack of legislative accomplishments
  • his 4 houses
  • his wifeā€™s sketchy finances
  • his putting family on the payroll
  • his particular history of invading womenā€™s personal space (he sticks his finger in peopleā€™s faces an awful lot)
