It’s amazing to watch these idiots make hyperbolic statements and lies day in and day out about how Democrats/Obama/liberals are somehow aiding terrorists or have sympathetic views to them, or their foreign policies aren’t strong enough and blah blah blah.
And then they, themselves, go and literally aid the goddamned terrorists. This is a new low for Fox News, at a time when I wasn’t convinced they could get any lower.

I am convinced that the thing on TV is seeing somebody die on camera, which is what people watching reality shows secretly pray for every night of the week.
Thus Fox not the News is actually ahead of the curve.

Sadly, I think you’re right about the result, but not the reason. They showed this because they want to stoke Islamophobia of Islamo"fascists", the better to push us back into long-term occupation (Colonialism? or just to help our Israeli colony?). Showing a white/western pilot would have the opposite effect (see: Fallujah), while showing “arab on arab” violence has the desired effect of showing ISIL’s barbarity while not revealing us as either victim or interloper.
Of course, I just need to be prepared to reply to my faux-licking acquaintances that “yeah, these guys are really barbaric…hard to believe anyone could actually make me nostaligic for Saddam (and Uday and Qusay)”.

ISIL wants to terrorize us. Fox shouldn’t be in the business of helping them. For Fox it is all about giving those old white guys in their audience a cheap thrill. Fox should be ashamed.

Recently in France there was film of a terrorist shooting a wounded French police officer lying on the ground. Thankfully most everybody in the media obscured that horror. Did Fox?
I think Fox’s intent is clear. They terrify their audience with images of the murder. Concurrently, they suggest that this is all President Obama’s fault because he does not use the words “Islamic” and “Muslim” often enough, because the President is more sympathetic to Muslim’s than Christians, and because his foreign policy is a “failure.” So, basically, Fox is piggy-backing on IS’ terrorism to advance the Republican Party.

i figured somebody would be making the video available; it doesn’t surprise me that somebody is Fox News. I won’t be going in search of it; just the thought of it is horrifying enough, I have no need or desire to actually see it.

gwb spared himself the sight of caskets as well (Bar didn’t even want to think of Iraqi war dead because it would ruffle her beautiful mind), and it was President Obama who greeted homecoming caskets at dawn at Dover AFB. That’s what a president does.

I don’t remember where I saw it, but I did see a video with an unobscured image of the policeman getting shot to death by the two brothers, and I didn’t snoop around to find it. It was horrible.

I made a significant error in my post, I did see an unobscured image of the policeman on the ground in Paris getting shot to death but I don’t remember where. It was horrible.
