Dr Spock’s Baby and Child Care

A surprising number of tantrums are a result of fatigue or hunger or of putting a child in a situation that exceeds his capabilities. . . . If the tantrum is of this sort, a parent can ignore the apparent cause and deal with the underlying problem: “You’re tired and hungry, aren’t you? Let’s get you home, fed, and to bed, and you’ll feel a lot better.”

. . . .Don’t give in and meekly let the child have their way; otherwise she’ll be throwing tantrums on purpose all the time. Don’t argue with her, because she’s in no mood to see the error of her ways. Becoming angry yourself only forces her to keep up her end of the row. Give her a graceful way out. One child cools off quickest if parents fade away and matter-of-factly go about their own business, as if they can’t be bothered. Another, with more determination and pride, continues to yell and thrash for an hour unless her parents make a friendly gesture.

“…launching a campaign “petition” that said Trump was too “scared to debate” him.”

Yeah…that’ll work.

The Salt Lake Tribune reported the other day that fifty thousand people had applied for tickets. That’s a lot of people who want to see cars crash into a train wreck.

Trump owns FOX and Ailes. USA and We the People next. Prepare thyself, peons.

Just curious, why doesn’t Kasich take advantage of Trump blowing off the debate? You’d have free time to call out Trump without rebuttal…so I guess I don’t understand the strategy here. Anyone?

So the Republican Party does not want Trump to be the nominee, but then they show the voters the power, influence and authority he carries by just spouting off.

Please proceed…

Train wrecks for entertainment were super popular 100-ish years ago. That is, until the boilers blew up and sprayed the crowd with burning shrapnel.

Are you sure it wasn’t for a monster truck rally?

Kasich doesn’t need to give Cruz a platform…basically they are denying Ted any chance at gaining ground or inflicting damage. Ted is the Trump alternative, and Trump is basically saying he can just ignore him.

Kasich’s best strategy is to allow Ted to swing at Trump all he wants while the #NeverTrump crowd coalesces around Kasich…which is where the support from Rubio will go. Cruz and Trump pull from the same pool of voters, and they aren’t the same ones Kasich gets. He stands to have a better net gain if he deprives Cruz of another national platform.

This isn’t the DRAFT dipshit Donnie.
No reason to dodge the debate.

Probably because he knew there wouldn’t be a debate without Trump and wanted to get ahead of it. Even if there were a debate, it’d be hard for it to help him. No one would tune it to watch a debate between John “Never gonna win another state” Kasich and Ted "Can’t possibly win enough delegates no matter what I say" Cruz. The story would be about how Trump is the only one who matters regardless of what happened during their debate.

Trump should cancel all future debates…just to mess with Ted.
