In other news, Kennedy ignores a small tumor in her brain, because everyone should just chill.

No one expects too much from FOX bimbos. Do we.

Why is this bimbette even on television?

Oh, I keep forgetting, this is Faux Noise, Propaganda and Lies.

As a progressive I tend to be very logical in my thinking, as do the majority of other liberals I know. Irrationality belongs to the FOX news believing conservatives, Kennedy included.

Kennedy forgot to add the obligatory: “Benghazi, Benghazi, Benghazi” at the end.
Stop going off script girl…

It’s not "progressives’ or “liberals” on the anti-vaccine bandwagon. This is primarily a libertarian gig.

“…government bureaucrats who tend to overblow these public health crises”, said the employee of the network that provided non-stop, overblown and hysterical coverage of the Ebola virus during the month of October. That ended on election day.

Fox News host Kennedy said on Monday she knew exactly who’s to blame for anti-vaccination movement: progressives.

If progressives would’ve just eradicated polio, lifted millions out of poverty with social security, gave the poor medicare and then shut up everything would be okay.

There is a “vaccine” thankfully for Fox hosts who spread deadly misinformation. Unfortunately the TV off switch does nothing to clean up the idiot-pools where these hosts divide and re-produce.

Maybe the former MTV VJ should change her name to Reagan.

Turn to Fox Not the News because we NEVER make a mountain out of a molehill like the other networks do!

And I have my Smart Glasses™ on! Who you going to believe? Some liberal doctor or ME?

Didn’t that bimbo used to be one of the anti-vaxxers?

I wish that were the case. Here in the East Bay, there are plenty of unvaccinated kids and in the North Bay it is even worse. These are indeed progressive bastions.

It has been sadly fascinating to watch the dynamic play out as measles have made it here. Roughly 5-10% of the kids at my daughter’s public elementary school are unvaccinated. Combine that with a child with leukemia and plenty of infant siblings who are too young be vaccinated and it is a pretty volatile mix.

I don’t view this as a political thing. That is, progressive politics did not lead these folks to refusing to vaccinate their kids. Rather, bad science and the fear of being a “bad” parent based on bad information led them down that road.

That’s true. There’s an overlap with progressives and libertarians and that’s where you’ll find the anti-vaxxers, 9/11 & 7/7, Sony Truthers etc.

How does she come about blaming progressives for the anti-vaccination trend? I know it’s FOX and you blame progressives / liberals / democrats for everything there but how does anti-vaccination fit into the conservative liberal binary? If you read around…its the Liberal blogs that support vaccination and the Conservative ones that are yakking about choice. But I don’t see how you can make a generalism like the one she made. Perhaps that’s why she offered zero evidence in support of it.

It’s based on the stereotype of anti-Vaxxers being crunchy hippies who don’t trust medicine and prefer “natural remedies”. This view is backed up by the fact that some pockets of low vaccination are in areas where you find such people. But analysis done on the individual level (who refuses vaccines, not where do the live) show them to mostly be free-market libertarians. You can find a lot of those in Marin County and Portland, OR, alongside the hippies.
