Even stopped-watch Goldberg is right twice a day.

I would argue that Fox is Republican, rather than conservative. Sometimes the two overlap, but not always. Fox is sometimes conservative. Fox is always Republican.

O’Reilly is like the delusional alcoholic who denies reality over and over and over again. He is convinced of his own self-righteousness.

Welp, looks like O’Reilly has found the last raft of proven lies having no consequences whatsoever freeing. His last tenuous anchor of concern that some particle of truth might be necessary for his livelihood to continue has been slipped. Looks like clear sailing on the Feargasmic Sea from here on out.

Textbook cognitive dissonance.

Goldberg agreed but said the network as a whole has a conservative slant.

A slant?? Really?? So, by similar metaphor, the tip of a hypodermic needle is just a tad on the pointy side.

Every now and then I encounter someone who tells me they think Fox News is too liberal and they wish it was more conservative. I laugh, but I feel sorry for them too. The problem is there is a lot of these people and they vote religiously.

Fox could be officially designated the communications department of the RNC and they wouldn’t have to do anything but some paperwork. This is Reality 101.

“I never bought that, that Fox is the conservative network,” O'Reilly said.

“Maybe you don’t watch," Goldberg said.

"What was that zinging noise I just heard?" O'Reilly said.

One has to admit, though, that it’s often difficult to tell the difference between “conservative” and just plain stupid:

“I did not mean that Conservatives are generally stupid; I meant, that stupid persons are generally Conservative. I believe that to be so obvious and undeniable a fact that I hardly think any hon. Gentleman will question it.”
–John Stuart Mill, in a Parliamentary debate with the Conservative MP, John Pakington (May 31, 1866)

“This show is both smart and fair,” he said.

I’m sorry, but “smart and fair” and “liar and bully” are mutually exclusive concepts. Bill is such are narcissist that I think he actually believes his own bullshit.

He’s right, it’s not a conservative network (what do they believe in conserving)? They’re a fascist network - period.

He’s right it’s not a conservative news organization. It’s a John Birch propaganda organization.

Interesting, he has first hand knowledge about numerous things he never saw or was near to but he fails to see that his own organization is to the right of Genghis Khan.
