Discussion: 'Fox And Friends' Can't Get Enough Of Kamala's Back-And-Forth With Biden

Wait, Kilmeade stopped eating paste long enough to say something?

She’s the perfect Fox-Republican!

One is a set of laws and the other is a way expressing a group affiliation or sympathy.

I’d like to distance myself from the idea that Biden is a “racist piece of shit.” That is very unfair.

F&F and their Dark Master Trump would LOVE to run against Kamla Harris and are drooling at the prospect.

She is everything they have been propagandizing to White Voters about for the last 30 years;
Black, Female, Aggressive, West-Coast Liberal who champions “get even for the past” policies.
(not actually true, but that is what their Bull-Horn Propaganda will claim and the MSM will dutifully echo because they want a Spectacle, not an Election.)

If Harris is the nominee, Trump wins 35 states and cruises to victory as the Democratic Party is riven asunder by “Purity Tests” of Racial Identity Politics and LGBTQ issues and Historical Gender and Racial recriminations. If Harris embraces “Reparations” like Corey Booker has, Trump’s victory will look like Nixon’s in 1972 when he won 49 states and crushed McGovern despite being despised by most of the public and directing and expanding highly unpopular war.

Voters want to hear about the candidates plans for FIVE things, in order of importance:

Health Care
Jobs/Wages
Education
Foreign Policy
Environment

They don’t care about fringe Progressive issues, and in fact pushing them to the exclusion of all else actually ANGERS THEM, as only the Liberal-Twitter-verse deems them important and the average voter feels IGNORED and TAKEN FOR GRANTED when candidates rail upon and rend their clothing about these things.

White middle-class/lower-class voters are 74.7% of the voting population. You don’t get them to vote for you by yelling at them, over and over and over again, about what greedy, racist, misogynistic people they were 40 years ago and how you are going to “get even” for things that their ancestors did in the past. That way lies sure defeat.

You may not like it, but that’s REALITY.

The Republicans understand this and have been exploiting those feelings of exclusion and being ignored by “the elite” for a long, long time. That is how Trump got elected (along with a LOT of help from the Russians who also exploited these issues very effectively via Social Media and manipulating the feckless and lazy MSM into featuring them.)

For a short time in 2018, the Democratic Party had “message discipline” and stuck to the above five issues, and kicked ass, but I fear the Twitter-verse and the lazy, feckless MSM (along with massive help from the Russian Troll-farms) will drag the entire Democratic focus far, far left into these “get even for the past” issues of recrimination and victim-hood that the majority of the electorate DOES NOT CARE ABOUT.

KEY YOUR EYES ON THE PRIZE and focus on what the majority of voters CARE ABOUT or you are toast.

So Dems win the POC vote by big margins and lose the white vote by double digits. We’re happy if we’re within 15% among white voters. When next year will have the highest POC % of the total electorate (and the lowest white %) who do you think will max out that POC vote better than Harris? No one. By any realistic measure, she’s one of the best hopes for Dems to take the WH.

She played right into the Republicans’ hands. Making her argument about how the Democrats’ Civil Rights movement let her down is a classic Karl Rove talking points.

She should have acknowledged that it was the Civil Rights Movement which made it possible for her to be standing on that stage. I highly doubt attacking Biden on his Civil Rights record which is far more extensive than she let on is going to help her with the part of the Democratic base that she needs most to go up in the polls: older black women. Instead, Booker and Castro could gain from her miscalculation.

Why didn’t she attack Biden instead on his outrageous “Boy” remark last week which is the focus today of so many young blacks regarding police harassment/abuse? Perhaps because she has a shaking record on this herself? This is something that really concerns their mothers and fathers across America. It’s relevant to everyone including underemployed young white men.

If she wants to go the course, Kamala needs to bond with everyone. I sort of expected second tier candidates like Swalwell to go this generational route as they don’t have anything else going for them. But not someone like Harris who has credibility as a candidate.

Bernie showed respect for everyone on that stage last night. It reminds us again why he’s such a formable and important candidate for people of all ages. He was The Voice in the Wilderness last time around. He now is the Voice of Reason. . .

You caught that one too, eh? I’m surprised it wasn’t a bigger issue but I cringed when Biden said that. States rights means the right for local communities to discriminate against the minority population with no recourse. The Democratic Party’s support for Federal solutions was to provide equal treatment across the board and not give states an out to discriminate. It was an even worse mistake by Biden. He’d be better off apologizing and moving on.

So Biden says dumb racist shit, doesn’t apologize and she has to cater to white fragility and hold her tongue even though she and many POC were offended? Nonsense. Joe can’t make mistakes like this and needs to own up and show better political skills when he does.

Whites are 74.7% of the Electorate. Blacks are 12.3%, Latinos/Asian/Other the remaining 13%.

These are the facts, and FACTS ARE STUBBORN THINGS.

Hummm what about a Harris Warren ticket, either as president. They seem like two of the most intelligent well spoken folks in contention. Sadly I think it would not be able to break the white male wall, but interesting to contemplate.

It’s funny to watch folks like this act as if a POC candidate would fare worse than a white one when the Dems build their margins with POC voters. Dems lose white voters by double digits in most every battleground state. How do you make that up and win? With POC voters. Who in this group would motivate POC voters to turn out en masse better than Kamala Harris? No one.

If Harris wins the nomination that puts a ton more states in play because there are not enough racist white voters out there for Trump to win, and whole lot more POC who will vote with her on the ticket.

Oh really! Wow, didn’t know that! And of that 74.7% the GOP wins by 10 points to 20 points no matter if the person on the Dem ticket is white or non-white (actually Obama outperformed HRC, Kerry and Gore among whites). How do Dems overcome that? By winning POC voters. Who can persuade POC voters to turnout to vote better than Harris? There really isn’t anyone.

Trouble with math is it?

How can 12.3% overtake 74.7%?

The vast majority of White Voters are not racist. They have different priorities that the “Woke” crowd will never understand, and disparage at every opportunity.

Enjoy the view from up there on your Cross as you lose every election, secure in the knowledge of your Righteousness.

Both parties need to grow. If Democrats do it at the expense of its current base, you weaken the party for the coming decades. These older black voters are going to be living a lot longer than their parents. You can’t take them for granted. And they vote in every election not just every four years if even that.

I think Kamala underrated not only Biden but also the people who have been voting for him for nearly a half century. She needs to mend fences quickly. If she doesn’t recognize her mistake, it could backfire on her candidacy big time. There are a lot more fish in the sea this time.
