Seems the list should also include the President, since this is a pipe dream anyway. But it’s nice to see some resistance.
Silence from the R party… not surprised.
In this time of tumult in our country, Americans deserve a leader
But all we have is Trump.
Trump is not a leader. He is a bully. He may look orange, but he’s actually yellow.
“This blue satchel? Mr. President, this is for important, sensitive documents. If it’s not in the safe, but on your desk, always keep it locked. And secure the key someplace discreet where only you have access to it, ok?”
The heads of the black, Hispanic, Asian and progressive caucuses…
Seriously, are there any House caucuses that Trump would be less likely to listen to? I know Bannon, Miller and Gorka are bad but, is there a point to this?
Sort of like homeless people sending a letter to Ben Carson.
Trump is both a curse and and gift. Who else in such a short time could expose the true nature of the GOP base they cater to? Sure, I also want him gone, but not before he damages his chosen party even more than he already has. The racism is not as subtle as it used to be, this unwanted sunlight will make many Republicans uncomfortable. I rest my case with this recent cartoon:
I’m worried that #45 will refuse to do it because the minority caucases asked him to.
Good politics. It will tie Trump closer to Bannon, Gorka and Miller and it will draw attention to their overtly white supremacist views.
I was thinking the same thing.
…it will draw attention to their overtly white supremacist views.
That’s a bit like trying to “draw attention” to a nuclear explosion. It gets enough attention by itself. It doesn’t need to have someone pointing at it.
Yep! I do hope more ® groups keep pushing Trump in the same way. This can only hurt him as he refuses to cut the folks who represent hate groups, Jeff KKKSessions included!
Wanna bet he sends out a tweet denouncing these minority caucus groups?
For you and me yes, but lately those cockroaches, especially Bannon, have been hidden deeply in the woodwork.
And Tom Bossert, of course. Guy should be disbarred as well.
Since he has already been proven as a draft dodging coward, and a man with tiny hands and other accessories, I sincerely doubt that the Asshole-elect has the balls to fire them. Sad.
Because these people were chosen to represent those populations, and what is the point of having people in leadership positions to represent you if they sit by haplessly and say, “what’s the point of doing anything?” when hate is implicitly endorsed against others. I wonder myself, what’s the point of speaking out against the hate on my social media, which has a very light footprint, but i’ve done it anyway. I’m not a leader, but it gets my voice out in the ether. I’m still not sure if that matters, but in the case of these congressional leaders, yes, it most definitely matters.
Maybe your question was rhetorical, but it is something i’ve been pondering about myself quite a bit lately. I still don’t have the answer for myself, but the congressional Dems, or any Dem in the public eye, should most definitely speak out.
Ben who?
