I wholeheartedly disagree with both your comments.
Those of us with limited voices must speak louder to be heard.
Also, I believe it is important for all of us, but especially elected leaders, to take a stand and to take that stand firmly, forcefully, sincerely, and as often as we can and with any means available.
What you’re suggesting is to roll over and take it. We’ve had enough of that, thank you very much.
Of course Trump isn’t going to listen to House minority’s caucus members, but then, Trump doesn’t listen to his own lawyers. This action outs Gorka, Miller and Bannon as white supremacists and neo-Nazis. It increases the pressure on GOP congress critters to take a side, they have to choose whether or not they will also speak up against the president whose administration is run by neo-Nazis and white supremacists. As Trump’s polls sink, the GOP who stand with him may see their re-election hopes diminish. It puts pressure on them.
If Trump did fire Bannon, Gorka or Miller, it will only be because they no longer bring him the adulation he believes is his due. If Trump’s polls tank, he may actually fire one or all of them, but I don’t think that would mean that Trump is dumping their racist agenda.
If Trump fires Bannon, Gorka, and Miller - I would be happy - but who would be around to write the statements that put Trump’s feelings into words? Trump IS Bannon/Gorka/Miller. He might as well fire himself - not a bad idea, probably the only good thing he can do for the country at this point - then he can seek immunity and tell us the whole truth about the oligarchs and his business and the Russians and his campaign. Oh yeah - and how he feels about his German heritage - the family changed its name, but was that a big enough change? He loved attacking Obama’s citizenship and status, but Trump’s own mother was from another country and Obama didn’t feel the need to “americanize” his name. And let’s talk about how two thirds of Trump’s wives were not born in America while we’re at it. GOP - time to clean up your mess.
Just wondering, does Ivanka hold dual citizenship because her mother was born in the Czech Republic which was also part of the Soviet Union when Ivanka was born?
Always wondered if there wasn’t some double agent stuff going on with all of Trump’s Eastern European wives and their children. Eric doesn’t seem to be anything but White Supremacist stupid. But Don Jr. and Ivanka seems to have been dealing with Russians every chance they got as adults.
You are forgetting Ivanka and Conway are there to pacify and speak for the Fuhrer.
btw, there is a Back to School Orange is the New Black sale going on at Ivanka’s fashion site. Buy one NeoNazi white polo shirt and you get a free red Trump baseball shirt. The Tiki brand refused to cross promote…this time.
That blue satchel is where Ivanka keeps Trump’s crayons. If he’s an extra good boy and sits up big and tall during the intel briefing, he gets to color a picture and show it to everyone before his nap.
Now is not the time to remain silent. I’ve been advocating restraint ever since the election (to the dismay of many) but now, now is our moment. We have to go after him on this with everything we’ve got and we need to do it now.
Not intending to sound flippant, besides those groups having the right and calling to stand up for themselves at this moment, I can think of at least 2 more points to it.
They may be the beginning of the call for this action not the only one.
I’ve been contacting my MoC asking for them to pressure the White House to remove these same three. I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one.
Kenneth Frazier, Merck CEO, was the first to leave the manufacturing council, and he has been followed by others.
If Trump manages to be an asshat (one of his strengths) in response these caucus’ request, so much the better. It calls out a lot of people, Dems and Reps, to stop hiding from this issue and take a stand.
I’m not sure where we are right now, but there seems to be a growing collective “fed-up-ness” that may actually get at least one of these lizards out of the WH.
Trump’s aggrieved. It’s dawning on him that he’s married to the US, there’s no pre-nup. And, aside from potentially getting taken to the cleaners for an innocent screw-up, he can’t even run out and get revenge with a younger, prettier country. Sad.
