“This suit was brought as part of a nationwide inquiry against a number of companies, and the matter was ultimately settled without any finding of liability and without any admission of wrongdoing whatsoever,” spokeswoman Hope Hicks told NBC News.

Gawd I love the smell of a good technicality in the morning!! Beats an orgasm every time!!

A Trump campaign spokeswoman said in an email to NBC News
that there was “absolutely no merit to the allegations.”

Nope. Never is.

Spox added: "And we cannot comment further on a
settled 43-year-old case that keeps coming back to haunt us."

This is part of a more encompassing audit.
Currently being performed by the voting public.

Trump: I settled, no admission of guilt. You all are racists.

And the reason nobody brought this up 18 months ago when Trump announced his candidacy? Yes, we all know.
I only hope that the really damaging stories coming out in the last few days (insurance fraud at Mar a Lago also) move Clinton towards a landslide victory.

“These issues were raised 40 years ago specifically to keep me from being elected President. It’s rigged I tell you. Hillary set this up as soon as she graduated from college. Crooked. Time was when you didn’t have to rent to black folks if you didn’t want to. That’s why I want to make America great again.”

Is there a different Donald Trump who claimed ‘never’ to settle lawsuits? I suppose he’s representing some other Republican Party who try to spin that settling = guilt?

NBC’s present day soundbites from the denied renters (all women that I saw) are very powerful…

Really excellent reporting. That must have taken some work.
How many women?

Three women that I saw including the women who the rental agent described as “calling repeatedly” in her excitement over a new apartment, a nurse.
The MSNBC prime anchors last evening credited investigative reporter Cynthia McFadden with the story.
Ms. McFadden, if memory serves, was ABC’s investigative reporter before shifting to NBC, unregulated media corps like to keep the creative people on the edge until they need the ratings or image polish.

Not at all surprising.

However, how did you feel about participating in such things, and for how long were you a willing party to it?

It’s quite apparent that Trump loves to litigate. Why would he settle unless he was guilty as sin?

“Certain people” were trying to rig the application process. There’s nobody tougher on fraud than me. My dad was tough too, very tough. A Trump property is a no-fraud zone, believe me.

Why do you keep asking about this? It’s not fair to ask us about a thing that happened, but we made go away with money without having to admit we were wrong…

That means it never happened, right?
