There are ways that people can deal with this. I would hope that it is done in a manner in which the snowball potential is maximized

  • In terms of reporting

  • In terms of its value

  • In terms of the ease (for the next defection) that each defection creates.

Also, people rise to the level of expectations. It is now expected that the adults living in a representative system of government take it upon themselves to save the country from the children (like Sean Hannity, Clint Eastwood, Donald Trump, the GOP leadership) in our midst.

Then they die too, when Trump, as President, Destroys Civilization. Right now, this is the Estimate of the Situation:

We have an insane man ONE election away from having the Nuclear Codes. I fear that because there is no actual history of an invasion by a foreign power to sensitize us to “rule by another power”, we still do not COLLECTIVELY** grasp the menace of Donald Trump.

Yet.

** “Collectively” meaning that good Cub Scouts and Brownies like the people who post here at TPM are not the entire collective. Millions, more millions and more tens of millions are still not in any way concerned about Trump at all. Nor interested in voting against him…if they vote at all.

“I am ever more confirmed in my belief that Trump is a sociopath, without a conscience or feelings of guilt, shame or remorse. And he is pathologically insecure, recklessly attacking anyone who does not confirm him as the best there is,” Humphrey told NBC News in an email. “To imagine Trump in charge of our armed forces at a moment of crisis is frightening.”

That’s the crux of it right there. Trump is deranged, he clearly has Narcissistic Personality Disorder, and he very possibly is a sociopath as well. I highly doubt, if pressed, Trump could name a single time he ever felt the emotions of guilt, shame or remorse.

I fear HW is too old to come out and make this public. I also fear W is on the brink of doing it himself. Don’t need that stinky fish.

Reconvening the convention. Wow I have never considered this concept. Has this ever happened? Will there be beatings? Will there be flags? Will they show Megyn’s legs?

they cant force him out since he accepted the nomination. Their only hope is that he voluntarily drops out but that would need to happen soon since may state deadlines are coming up. The deadline here in nc is tomorrow, If they ever did think of droppin g him they needed to do that before he formally accepted the nomination
