Discussion: Former Cruz Aide Shocked Senator 'Succumbed' To Pressure To Back Trump (VIDEO)

But yes, I too am voting for Mr. Trump, said Ms. Carpenter.

He’s an orange dreamboat, and that aroma of TicTac’s? Irresistible…

Amanda Carpenter used to work for Cruz, and she was unaware that he’s a shameless opportunist?

That is the news story here.

Hate to break it to you, but for most Republican men that’s a feature, not a bug.

ā€œPeople such as Sen. Jeff Sessions (Ala.), Ben Carson, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, Rudolph W. Giuliani, Newt Gingrich, Mike Huckabee and the others. Those who gave Trump credibility and used their influence to rationalize his obscene words and actions need to be named and shamed for what they did,ā€ she continued. ā€œBecause the most dismaying thing about the election is not Trump himself. It’s that so many Republicans endorsed his nightmarish campaign.ā€ In particular, Carpenter criticized Republicans who dismissed Trump’s vulgar comments caught on a hot mic in 2005 about grabbing and kissing women without permission as ā€œlocker room talk.ā€

Amen. Gotta give her credit for seeing the light and publicly saying this. Loved what she said about Guiliani and his little circle jerk of pricks.

In the video, she said something like:

ā€œI do expect, as a woman in the Republican Party, that when women are attacked that the men in the party will defend us.ā€

When exactly has your expectations been confirmed? I’ll wait.

I do expect, as a woman in the Republican Party that when women are being attacked, that men in the party will rise to defend us.

That’s freakin cute of you to think that, Amanda…

ā€œAnd so I want them to answer me, we defended you, why didn’t you defend us?ā€

Anita Hill anyone? Amanda. You were wrong to defend them in the first place and shouldn’t be surprised.

This is the same aide who a few years back complained that her government-funded healthcare was not good enough for her.

Let me guess. She really thought this worm had a spine. They really do live in a fantasy world on the right.

And we always think that Republicans have no optimism, when right here we have this sterling example. That Amanda, still searching for that city on the hill to which Reagan once paid lip service. An example to us all.

LOL, her first mistake was assuming ANY of them were EVER respectable…

Now that Trump is losing, she is courageously coming out in public against him, and trying to position herself as one of the few brave souls who deserve to rake in the consultancy millions – er, help lead the party – when it is reconstructed along less obviously disgusting lines.

She was Ted Effing Cruz’s communications director. She’s not in this for the integrity.

Did she just wake up from a nap or something? Where was this woman when republicans were talking about legitimate rape and such four years ago? Where was her voice then? Why didn’t she ask questions aloud then? As the young folks like to say, BYE FELICIA!
