Discussion: Flynn’s Brother To Trump: It's ‘About Time You Pardon General Flynn'

“…which he said he tweeted in response to Trump’s post attacking the FBI and Hillary Clinton for the famous Christopher Steele dossier.”

Famous? Sure, news junkies, inside the beltway people, citizens making a point to keep up to date on current events might know about it. But famous? $50 says you could stop 100 random people on a downtown street corner in any city and 90 of them couldn't give you a remotely concise description of what it is, who and how and why it was produced, or any other pertinent information about it.

given the apparent and obvious illegitimacy of the manner in which the so called ‘crimes’ he plead guilty to were extracted from him,” he said.

Soooo… it wasn’t the crime so much as Flynn’s stupidity in not covering up his crimes?

Well OK then.

Drumpf: I have to pardon Flynn as he is the only one who can Lock Her Up. Besides, he has damaging information about me and The Putin.

Flynn has legal counsel. Did his legal counsel advise him the charges were for crimes that didn't exist? And if so why did he plead guilty to either offenses which weren't crimes, or to real crimes he didn't commit?

What in the hell is a "so called 'crime'"? How does a prosecutor charge someone with violating a "so called crime"?

Joseph Flynn doesn’t get that a pardon of his brother would be the act that would seal the doom of the Dotard’s occupancy in the White House. Imagine … a billionaire getting evicted from public housing…

I hope Dump Pants does pardon the traitor. The American IC will be nearly united against him at that point – then the juicy leaks will flow.

Flynn was represented by counsel. He plead guilty of a relatively minor charge in the universe of crimes which he most probably committed. How does the claim that his crimes were illegitimate or his guilty plea “extracted” pass the laugh out loud test? However, good to see the digital paper trail of the contempt for Justice and the attempts to obstruct by two fanatics.

That’s why lawyers get paid so much in cases like this.

(I know … none of it makes sense)

Thanks for keeping confessed felon ex-General Flynn in the headlines and on Trump’s mind.

With a brother like that, who needs enemies?

A “so called crime.”

Is that like being just a little bit pregnant? Or, “it wasn’t a crime, per se?” I mean, I get so confused in this new Trumpian Universe.

How shocking the confession was extracted from him by making a plea deal on his other crimes. It’s almost as bad as if someone conspired to send him to a country where his political enemies would torture him and…oh wait, he did that.

It would explain a lot.

If you have enough money, connections and great lawyers nothing you do is a crime until SCOTUS says it is. Bob McDonnell was found guilty by a jury and subsequent appeals courts of taking bribes. SCOTUS pronounced they didn’t care what the hell a jury and appeals courts said, McDonnell could go free. So, yes, what is a crime is relative. Relative to whether you have the money to pay SCOTUS to let you off the hook.
