By hiring her he can all but be assured the wing nuts that watch Fox will be funding his defense…

Huh, I thought it was going to be the husband and wife duo of DiGenova and Toensing. And until it is reported otherwise, this does not seem like a change in strategy.

He is going to continue to cooperate with the government, pursuant to his plea agreement,

Is the government now Barr???

Great strategy, casting doubt on the validity of his plea.

Worked out great with the judge the last time.

The judge is going to have a blast kicking Ms. Powell’s batshit-crazy ass around the courtroom.

And if so many people donated to this American Saint’s defense fund, how come he couldn’t come up with the money to hire more than this joke of an attorney? What, Larry Klayman wasn’t available?!

Ah yes, even a worm will turn.

She seems…weird. She’s a Trumper QAnonist. Flynn is going all in for a pardon.

Natasha Bertrand (NatashaBertrand)
.@SidneyPowell1 confirms that she is Michael Flynn’s new lawyer, and indicates that he will not be withdrawing his guilty plea. “I am honored to be representing General Flynn. He will continue to cooperate with the government as he has done from the beginning," she emails.

From her Twitter:

“It has become apparent that we are dealing with not only ‘mission creep’ by Robert Mueller, but with ‘a case of creeps on a mission — to destabilize and destroy this President.’”

She is good with words, I’m sure the judge will like that one.

Why change attorneys now, when all that’s left is a single sentencing hearing? Only thing that makes sense to me is if the new attorney is working pro bono.

Your honor, I would suggest that by choosing me as his attorney, Mr Flynn has demonstrated clearly that he is not competent to aid in his own defense.

The General and his family I want to thank everyone across the country for their cards and contributions to his legal defense fund. It’s hard to find that many stupid people willing to line the pockets of a convict’s lawyer!

This was my first thought. Especially if the judge still wants to throw the book at him. Flynn will be the victim. :sigh:

I guess the pardon is in the bag!!!

Seems to be the consensus around here but I don’t understand—if he’s fulfilled the terms of his plea deal, what more does Trump want from him? Is the presumption that whatever he said wasn’t bad enough to be a solid conspiracy charge, so he’s earned it?
