Jeff Flake is a master of stating the obvious and getting the press to put it above the fold.
We’re gonna miss him after January 3rd.
Flake said Trump’s withdrawal would be “just another signal to the world that we’re not a reliable
partnerparty.”
FTFY
Check back when you’ve grown a spine, Senator Flake. The current notochord is better than your colleagues, but still only worth a pittance of my time.
Flake’s name is apropos.
Not as much as the filling between the junior Senator from Arkansas’ ears.
Tells the world neither the GOP nor Likud are reliable partners.
Gee, another “no shit, Sherlock “ moment.
How precious.
I’m guessing there is someone responsible for this. Odd that the Flakester didn’t mention him.
Excuse me but the rest of the world already knew that and they are already plenty upset over your party’s President, Jeff.
Give it up, Jeff.
Your fellow Arizonans aren’t going to elect you governor.
Your fellow Americans aren’t going to elect you President.
Your brand is tainted.
Your voting record tells the world YOU are not a reliable voice.
Be careful, Jeff, or you might be next in the Twitter barrel.
No, seriously, he’s your party, he’s your President. If you’re unhappy with what he’s doing, step up and say something.
Unless of course it would upset your base. Then you can just keep your hand-wringing and whinging.
The question to ask is whether the U.S. leaving the Iran Deal helps or hurts Russia.
Fuck you, Flake. Come back to us after you have voted against Trump ONE FUCKING TIME, FUCKWIT.
Well DUH! I’m amazed that any country would want to have anything to do with us.
And this pretty much guarantees that, if this were brought to the floor for a vote, he would be a yea.
So he can take his whinging and put it where the sun don’t shine.
He’s not going away. He’s laying the groundwork to primary Trump. Seems Quixotic, but go for it, Jeff!
When sticking it to the previous POTUS because he was black is more important than sane foreign policy with respect to nuclear armament, the country is on the brink of complete and utter failure.
This is the beginning of the price the whole world is going to pay by the US giving Trump so much power. Not only does this mean the US is an unreliable negotiating party, it requires everyone out there to assume that there’s no point coming to a deal with the US government because the people are capable of putting an unreasonable, evil moron in charge. Bush/Cheney was bad enough, but it could take 50 years or more for the US to rebuild trust in the world on anything.
Trump’s approach smacks of empire building – basically he sees the US as imposing its will on others on the threat of war – which the world has had quite enough of already. The threat of war can be quite effective, but some countries will call the bluff and even if they don’t most Americans don’t like the idea of being a nation of bullies.
What the withdrawal tells me is America has stepped back from its role as world leader. He is pissing our cold war victory away just like the neo-cons did with W.
