The Republicans are the New England Patriots of Politics. Cheat wherever and whenever you can…
Here*s an idea - in future voting , just put the names in a hat , and someone picks one out . Done . /s
HEY, watch it!
The Republicans are certainly NOT the Patriots of politics. The Patriots are good. Better than the other teams. Not so for the Republicans.
Only slightly related to this article but rather interesting.
Simonds should not only request a recount, but take the matter to the State Supreme Court and Federal court. Counting a ballot that was obviously spoiled violates existing statutes in Va.
Female Democrat gets most votes. Declared loser. Is this a thing?
Funny how Yancey, the Republican, wasn’t there. Who wouldn’t be at this event unless you already knew the outcome and didn’t want to have to fake surprise.
The ballot that was used by Pubs to tie the election was DEFINITELY bogus. If you vote for both candidates your ballot is spoiled. Take it to court Shelley, find some honest jurists!
Fuck you
Everyone hates the Big Dog.
Gee what happened in 1980? St Ronnie was elected, coincidence?
Even if they have deflated balls?
Krugman points that out in the next 2 related tweets that follow that one and the 4th points out that Republicans’ next step that will add to this is cutting medicare/medicaid.
Evidently so.
Hey minimus, STFU. I am a proud NE Pats fan who lives in South Florida, and absolutely abhors the local celebrities, the Miami Dolphins. Don’t “conflate” cheating with the Pats to make an argument in favor of the Repukes. Ostracizing those that agree with you politically is not smart!!!
They cheat. Also they manage to pull off being both unabashed/shameless AND hypersensitive about it.
Yes, indeed…
I lived in Cleveland in the 90’s. I hated Belicheck before it was cool.
“The takeaway from today is, we will be in the majority on the first day,” Cox said, referring to the 2018 legislative session that starts next week.
See how the goppers operate? They seem to equate majority with everyone. If the Dems had that kind of a narrow edge they would work with the other side to ensure that everyone of their voters and citizens and residents were getting represented, but the GOP doesn’t do it that way. They seem to have forgotten, if they ever knew, that we are a representative democracy.
I think we need to start working that equal protection clause hard. Fight Shelly, fight!!!
I am a NY Giants fan since the year 1977 when I moved to NYC, and they had a great defense but otherwise sucked, and no one could imagine that they would ever go to a Super Bowl, and we would have all been happy to achieve playoffs now and again. And I got tired of hearing about what a genius he was during the height of the Bill Parcells era and all their hype. I hope the Browns are able to experience the process the Giants fans did once the Maras made the somewhat questioned hire of the most un -glamorous George Young as their GM and personnel architect. I am ecumenical in my sports interests, perhaps from having grown up off the mainland. I have followed the Indians (Luis Tiant, Sam McDowell Era), Browns and Cavs (Bill Fitch Era). I really loved the Brian Sipe Sam Rutigliano Browns teams. Anyway, the Browns fans had reason to dislike Belichek.
