The sad thing is that lots of American voters clearly value putting the furriners in their place above all else, and consequences be damned. When Obama said world leaders were rattled by Trump, I have no doubt the Trumpists took that as a good thing.

What I got was Trump is being as offensive and insulting to the Judge as possible/the Judge cannot help but despise Trump/ therefore cannot be objective/ therefore must recuse himself. Circular Trump reasoning.

I’ve been watching the CNN documentaries about the 80’s. The one about the changes in television particularly cable news and daytime talk is quite relevant to today’s media. It showed the introduction of CNN under Ted Turner which was fairly straight news with the exception of Crossfire. The tabloid and talk shows that gained promenance in the era such as Morton Downey and Geraldo had the producers inject a angry quotient as well as disregard for basic reasoning into them that we are paying for to this day.

Yes, Trump is being offensive. Very offensive… of a federal judge. But my point was Trump’s choice of word salad language in that he said he was gonna have the Judge recused. It is apparent that trump is unaware what the word means or to whom the word applies and who does the recusing of whom. And this guy who hasn’t got even basic civics or legal understanding is way too close to being President.
