Just to play devil’s advocate… Possessions of a defunct company may have value and may be sold. It happens all the time. That said, the only outfits that would have an interest in buying these books are other crooks trying to learn better ways to swindle the public.

Badly. To the extent there’s any method to the madness, and I’m not saying there is, it’s to somehow force the judge into being fair in his favor by Mike Krzyzewski/Bobby Knight ref-working.
The problem is that a federal judge, with his lifetime tenure, has no shits to give and will be making a huge number of calls in your case that are reviewable solely for an abuse of discretion.
Any litigant who does what Donny is doing might as well lube up and bend over.

Only a judge can recuse himself or herself from a case. I’m not sure about federal practice, but in state court in California, any objections to the judge must come at the very beginning of a case before any rulings are made, although there is an exception for misconduct.
Another thing to keep in mind is that federal judges are appointed for life and can impose huge sanctions when warranted.

Trump is skating on thin ice in many different arenas.
This is his typical MO I guess but a near 70 year old man that has lived with stress like this his entire life and is now under enormous public pressure as well has got to be hitting his red line.
He has no option but to press on but the hole just keeps getting a little deeper and a little wider.
He will be under indictment as the Republican nominee and in fantasyland he’d be the President elect dodging pending charges with a VP possibly in a worse boat.
Trump can’t phone in the roll of the President. No matter his own personal legal problems, he would have to do the job.
Or, he could buy a ranch and start having some immigrants thin brush for him. It worked for Bush and would be a one up on that plan with the immigrants thrown in.
Distractor in Chief, his title has already been cast.

Now, lets compare the media coverage between the release of these documents to the freak out over the IG report which said basically the same things that have been said since this email story first broke( and by broke I mean planted by the Bush campaign).
