Oh yeah - I heard that somewhere before

Simultaneously with this political purification of our public life, the Reich Government intends to undertake a thorough moral purging of the German Volkskörper. The entire system of education, the theater, the cinema, literature, the press, and radio-they all will be used as a means to this end and valued accordingly. They must all work to preserve the eternal values residing in the essential character of our Volk. Art will always remain the expression and mirror of the yearning and the reality of an era. The cosmopolitan contemplative attitude is rapidly disappearing. Heroism is arising passionately as the future shaper and leader of political destinies. The task of art is to give expression to this determining spirit of the age.

Someone needs to needlepoint this for the tiny-fingered vulgarian administration. These bastards get caught doing something stoooopid, and then immediately deny it.

Who you gonna believe baby? You gonna believe me, or you gonna believe your lyin’ eyes?

They shouldn’t be tuned to any private news source, tune them into PBS, C-SPAN or some other gov’t funded information source.

I keep hearing the word insecure used in describing Trump. After reading this I can see why.

Huh! Fox News? One would have thought they’d want it to be on a news station.

I’d prefer a Beany & Cecil marathon to Fox or CNN.

It seems like stories like this were always popping up during the Bush years. Usually the result of some low level reactionary from deep inside the Admin who had gotten a little full of themselves and overstepped. Of course, no superior would care that this person did this, and if called on it – like here – a mystified (and probably honest) denial would be issued and nothing would change including the channel on the TV.

We have one of those short-fingered vulgarians on our floor that insists on changing from CNN to Fox whenever someone isn’t looking.

I finally put the channel box out of his reach.

Reminds me, I wonder how all those Dr. Offices, Dentists, Clinics, Hospitals feel after force feeding Fox to their clients for years. Looks like it is about to pay off for them.

Are you saying Stephen Miller did this?

They should be working, not watching TV.

I agree that if anything should be on, it should be C-SPAN. I worked on the Hill decades ago, and that was the only channel allowed in common areas. I have been in federal buildings and find the constant intrusion of TVs in common areas incredibly annoying. Some people do eat there and watch the news, but for most cubicle dwellers, common areas are the only place to have a private conversation, whether as a part of official business or to talk to friends and family while on a break. To pick FDA of all places to impose FOX is especially ironic–they are an agency top heavy with scientists and lawyers.

Um, is the badministration picking winners and losers among commercial, for-profit enterprises? Just because PeePee can’t allow any possibility of criticism being heard by “his” people?

What an insecure, pig-eyed sack of shit.

Impeachment: Are we there yet?

Fox News in the lobbies always used to drive me a little nuts when I was working for government contractors.
