There is something in the rethoric which annoys me: Yes, of course it is suprising and hurtful, we all know that, so why say it ? Why not address the accusation in a matter of fact way and leave out your feelings ?
Thatâs âDr. Bitchâ to you. WTF is wrong with Virginia?
Politics is a strange business.
People pay attention to what you say and do.
Whether the right people act on it depends often on things not properly gauged at the time.
If Hills had won in 2016, there is a strong possibility that Brett Kavanaugh would have been on the receiving end of some legal hurt (before anyone was even dumb enough to think about using his name and âSupreme Courtâ in the same sentence).
But here we are.
During a private meeting on Monday, he reportedly said, âFuck that bitch,â referencing the accuser.
NBC News has learned that Virginia Lt. Gov. Justin Fairfax
Fuck NBC. Meanwhile, the âaccuserâ remains hidden, up in the cheap seats, throwing career-ending bombs down onto the playing field.
Seeing that sheâs âlawyered upâ, he needs to stop talking about this.
Fairfax is not helping himself. Why?
The statement is fine. Itâs the report of what he allegedly said at the private meeting that is killing him.
Not that I havenât said the same thing about several current White House occupants and staffers.
Power seems to have a way of rotting the brain.
This needs to be investigated, and I donât have a good feeling about what weâre going to find.
Virginia exists to make Alabama look good. It chose to close many of its public schools rather than integrate.
The more we learn about Fairfax, the more he seems like bad, bad news. He starts by making a false statement about the original WaPo investigation into the allegation (i.e. claiming there were âred flagsâ when there werenât)⌠and now this.
Just like Kavanaughâs smaller lies during the hearing made me think he was lying about the big thing too, Fairfaxâs actions do not fill me with confidence.
I liked Fairfaxâs 2nd statement. NBC are jerks for reporting on an emotional, profanity laden outburst from Fairfax with his career on the line.
From what I can tell, they had a sexual encounter. It was consensual until it wasnât. Fairfax may have crossed a line and wasnât aware, or disregarded the signs from her that she wasnât comfortable. If this were a legal case, there would be a lot of grey that would be tough for a jury to decide. If Kavanaugh didnât go down for what was much stronger and clearer evidence, I donât think Fairfax should quit over this either. If Professor Tyson wants to pursue legal action and more evidence emerges, then this topic can be revisited.

And apparently the AG appeared in blackface too. So basicly all three top Democrats will be called to resign.
Seems everything has pretty much fallen into place - for Republicans. Three scalps = surely thatâs a record.
I donât know whether the sexual encounter was consensual or not. I think peopleâs recollection of events can change or signals may be misinterpreted. But Fairfax did himself nor the situation any favors by saying what he allegedly did in the meeting. Dumbass, he really should know better. There are no special friends in politics, only special arrangements. A private meeting is not always private.
Itâs a pretty detailed account.
I believe her. Letâs see what happens now.
I think my prior comment above still stands. There was consent until there wasnât. In that sense, you can believe both up to a point. Either there was a misunderstanding between the two or a deliberate refusal by Fairfax to accept the change in consent status. That gap would be the subject of litigation/depositions and the outcome is unclear. It doesnât look like she plans to make another statement on this, and it seems doubtful that she is going to pursue legal action. So this sort of hangs out there against Fairfax. What she describes is a crime that she isnât planning to pursue remedies for at the present time (that could change). What he describes is not a crime. Thatâs a big gap.
Fairfaxâs mistake it would seem is to have offended her with an aggressive denial of the claim. That seems to have really upset her. Given that their accounts do match to a point, it was stupid of Fairfax to belittle the seriousness of what happened.
If she doesnât pursue further action here, I donât think there is much basis for him to resign on this alone.
Offs, this is all gop dirty tricks, true or not it stinks of stone and corsi and swift boats.
I donât think thatâs how it works. If she wasnât expecting a penis, and a penis was suddenly put in her mouth, thatâs just rape.
