So, it’s a pattern , he says stupid and outlandish things, destructive things, then goes on to implement them to a chorus of revulsion and disbelief.Been happening over and over again…will not end until he is gone.

The man took an oath to uphold the law. All members of Congress took oaths to uphold the law.
Apparently, the law does not apply to Republicans. Interesting. They must hate their country, and everything it stands for.
I would expect a lawsuit from the insurance industry for actions taken specifically to harm and destroy their industry. Americans, also, have standing for a lawsuit for actions taken by this president to harm the health, welfare, and well-being of millions of Americans who depend on that law to fulfill their healthcare needs.

Of course, what the Trump Administration is doing is odious. But I don’t see why it would be so difficult or expensive for the states to do the outreach, themselves, as everyone knows both the groups and the drill.

So far, Aetna, Anthem, and United have left my area. I’m not sure who will be left, but undoubtedly I will have far fewer choices and much higher premiums and deductibles. I’m not in some county in Wyoming. I’m in Richmond, the capital of Virginia. I’m a freelance academic editor; without the ACA’s subsidies, I will not be able to afford much. (My work is dramatically declining as well, thanks to the starving of university research funds, but that’s another story). And it’s too late … once the insurers have pulled out, no lawsuit or anything else will bring them back.
Besides the “gig” economy of Uber drivers, etc., we might think about artists, musicians, writers, and others who buy insurance this way. But, hey, they don’t work for corporations so - screw them! Who needs that snowflake stuff.

Yep. When Obama humiliated Trump at the White House Correspondents dinner, Trump vowed to never stop until he wiped Obama’s legacy off the record book. Trump’s vengeful, petty, racist blood is still boiling; he will make it his life’s work to search out and destroy everything he can that had anything to do with BO’s accomplishments. Is there a “Brutus” who can do a certain thing to “Caesar Trump”? Anyone? Please.

Very sorry to hear about your situation, but appreciate your report from the field. I know that Virginia’s Republican legislature has refused to expand Medicaid under the ACA, and I suspect that has exacerbated the situation. I assume that all of the ACA’s Silver plans have to have the same coverage, so the biggest problem for you will be the premium rates for people whose income is too high to qualify for an ACA subsidy. If you could amend the ACA to take care of your problem, what would your amendments do? Thanks.

Many state executive branches are also GOP. Granted, not all of those have it in for Obamacare like Trump does, but many probably do.

Time for Steyer, Soros, Eychaner, Stryker, and/or other rich Democrats / Progressives / Liberals to step up and fund - whether directly, thorugh PACS, or through other non-profit initiatives - some of these programs that the Donald administration is sabotaging.

I think O-Care is well enough known by now that sign ups will continue. The grassroots that saved Obamacare is going to have to step up with some ads/social media marketing to direct people to healthcare.gov in states that do not have their own exchanges.

Trump and his crooked lackey Price seek to destroy the ACA, since Congress wouldn’t do their dirty work. The uninsured rate and medical costs will likely both increase as a result. Trump is dumb enough to think he won’t be blamed by sentient Americans (which excludes dead enders). Trump and his GOP will get the blame.
