The sooner Trump is severed from the Oval Office, the better.

As I read this, I found myself actually hoping that HHSā€™s lack of outreach is ā€œjustā€ due to understaffing and/or incompetence, as is the case with so much else about this administration.

But probably not, in this particular case.

This would be the place where a Warren Buffett or a Bill Gates could step in an make a real difference by financing outreach efforts. (I realize that the Gates Foundation does a lot for health issues abroad, for which they should be praised, but ,criminelly, canā€™t they invest in THIS COUNTRY too???!)

Nope. Sabotage, clear and simple.

Just another example of what happens when evil controls the government. And I bet we hear nothing about this from Republican Congressional leadership.

I understand that presidents have a lot of leeway in directing their agencies what to enforce or not enforce, but if funds are earmarked specifically for this purpose are used for a different purpose, isnā€™t that a misallocation of funds? Seems to me thatā€™s grounds for impeachment. That is still unlikely to actually get to a vote with republicans in control, but itā€™s still the right thing to do and it keeps the spotlight on the administration for deliberately undermining the health care of millions and making it way more expensive.

The People be damned. Congress has got to know about this. Putinā€™s Collaborator has been dropping not so sly hints all along. McConnell and Ryan no doubt approve for their own special reasons.

This SOB makes Bush 2.0 look smart, and Reagan a saint in comparison.

This is the kind of reporting we need in these timesā€“revealing insidious, malicious actions that can only be seen if you show that itā€™s a deliberate pattern. And political activists have to be ready to respond. This administration will literally kill people to get its way.

Itā€™s a reference to the large numbers of people, especially after the recession, who make their money essentially freelancing and donā€™t have health insurance or other benefits a traditional full-time job would give you.

Heā€™s obsessed with destroying anything with Obamaā€™s fingerprints on it, and he doesnā€™t give a damn how many peopleā€™s lives heā€™s going to worsen.

Of course, the right way to get young healthy people insured is to just raise taxes and insure them by default. Everyone would retain the right to stay home if they donā€™t want to see a doctor.

This is Trump meeting his promise to his base of bigger, better, and more affordable healthcare.

Just like he met his commitment on equality for the LGBTQ community then he blind sides the military with his executive order.

Just like he said heā€™d make decisions that would win in Afghanistan and heā€™s smarter than the generals.

Just like he said heā€™d create jobs and bring back jobs that were exported.

Just like he said heā€™d bring back all the coal jobs.

And then he says there was NO collusion and thereā€™s no conflicts of interest between his hotels and the government.

Can we use the word ā€œdeplorableā€ yet? Or is that too harsh for his base while they push their Nazi and White supremacist agenda and resort to terrorizing Americans.

It is time for president whiny bitch to go. Maybe he can become Grand Wizard of the KKK ā€“ thatā€™ll keep him occupied and adored by the same number of people.

"and redirected funds meant for the promotion of Obamacare toward the creation of ads against itā€”a decision now under GAO scrutiny. "

You are correct, this was determined by the SCOTUS during Nixonā€™s term. If Congress allocates funds for a specific purpose, the Executive Branch has to spend them for that purpose, his hands are tied. Its called Impoundment, and the case was Train v. City of New York.

Which is why its under scrutiny.

Thank you, Ms. Ollstein!

This is not just a ā€˜fuck youā€™ to Obama. Itā€™s a ā€˜fuck youā€™ to the health and welfare of millions of Americans, to a robust economy, to the notion that the govā€™t supports ā€œlife, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.ā€

Trump promised an agenda focusing on Americaā€™s forgotten. Now he is hell bent on ā€œreallyā€ forgetting them. Liar!
