Discussion: Ex-NSA Head: Others Would Be Detained Over Trump's '2nd Amendment' Line

Sheesh, when the old crank Michael Hayden disses another GOP’r I need to check my window to see if pigs are flying.

“I used to tell my seniors at the CIA, you get to a certain point in this business, you’re not just responsible for what you say, you are responsible for what people hear,” This presumes that Trumpet is “responsible”.

Hayden makes an absolutely crucial and important point and why Clinton calls it dangerous.

“If someone else said that outside of the hall, he’d be in the back of a police wagon now.”

“Someone who were black.”

“Or brown.”

“Someone like that.”

Trump is orange… not close enough I guess?

This concept well known and often used by a con man. He can claim plausible deniability but his fanboys knew exactly what he was suggesting to them.

Frankly, I never would have pegged Benedict Donald as being intelligent but he is has a unique - albeit thoroughly disgusting - skill set.

Mr. Trump: Is your ass jealous of the amount of shit that just came out of your mouth?

It is called low cunning. And yes, his mouthbreathing fans got it. There were cries of “kill her!” from the mob when Trump made the 2nd amendment comment.

So Mr Hayden (places hands on hips and wags finger in Mike’s face) What the Sam Hill is preventing you as a former head orf the CIA and multiple other intelligence agencies and presumably a rather well connected guy, from getting some federal agency (namely the Secret Service) to arrest trump’s ample ass as we speak?? HMMMMmmm? YOU have the enviable ability to call the director of the FBI and get him to do your bidding I suspect. It’s time, Sir, for Trump to be “renditioned”.

I say again
detain his ass

For the good of the country if for no other reason.
edit
On thinking about this comment and others that trump’s recent behavior has elicited from me today…I would prefer that this one be thought of as snark.
Detaining Mr trump is not really that good of an idea as it sends a very very bad message about the state our democracy. Embarrassing Mr Trump publicly is likely the best I can hope for… Or maybe a public video of the Secret Service and FBI asking him questions as to his true intentions when he said what he did about second amendment options.
I want to say that I made a mistake in another post that got community flagged. I should not have posted it and have done what I can to delete it. My bad. I said words to the effect that turn about could happen. I was wrong to suggest that and I apologize to the community for that.

Maybe we’ve got it all wrong. Cut Trump some slack. Maybe he was talking about assassinating Supreme Court justices.

Mitch McConnell and Paul Ryan should be asked by the media to respond to each and every such Trump comment. Every day, without exception. He is their Presidential candidate, after all.

I am almost completely speechless at this latest outrage from Trump. To call for his opponent’s assassination is so utterly beyond the pale that the only appropriate reaction I can think of is disquiet.

And yes, Trump called for Clinton’s assassination. I don’t give a flying fuck what backtracking and excuses he offers to obfuscate his intent - it was not a joke. It is the most blatant call for stochastic terrorism I have ever seen.

“‘I used to tell my seniors at the CIA, you get to a certain point in this business, you’re not just responsible for what you say, you are responsible for what people hear,’ Hayden said on CNN.’”

So I’m guessing this guy isn’t a Republican or is a really bad one.

I find it incredulous that the Secret Service is not taking some action in regards to this blatant incitement.

If not now, when? What’s their tipping point??

Perhaps they are responding, and we’re not privy to it yet. At least, I hope so.

Agreed.

However a lack of a public response (given enough time to form one of course… I for one didn’t believe it what I first read it) might be seen by certain “citizens” as looking the other way.
