Carl should cast a spell on Fox News if he really wants revenge. Maybe turn Hannity into a newt.

Not sure how much to trust a guy that ever fell for the Fair and Balanced bullshit even in the beginning. After all it’s not as if the MSM has ever been all that lefty, only by judging based on recent standards after fox so-called news helped drag the world of tv news so far right can you consider the likes of CNN, CBS, NBC or ABC anything beyond centrist.

it took him 22 years to figure out "fair and balanced"was a meaningless slogan???..bullshit.

Yeah, you can miss me with Campaign Carl.

The Washington Post reported that Cameron, along with ThinkProgress’ Joe Romm, are creating a liberal answer to the Drudge Report.

Wait - don’t we already have “The Young Turks”??? :grimacing:

Just what we need: Drudge for the Left. Snap internet polls with a lefty twist. Distorted images of right-wing politicians. Headlines that make you real mad. A blue siren for really important news to the Left. Side boob (Huffington Post should not have a monopoly on this).

I’m all for this. Its about time we counter the rights bullshit and having an insider on board would be helpful… I’ll definitely be visiting.

The tell is “over the years” as if it changed into something bad. Fox started bad and just got worse.

Carl Cameron has no credibility as a liberal anything.

He wants your money. That’s what this is all about.

The network, owned by Rupert Murdoch, apologised for the article in which the Democratic challenger was quoted telling a rally in Florida: “Didn’t my nails and cuticles look great? What a good debate!” Comparing himself to the president, Mr Kerry was supposed to have said: “I’m metrosexual - he’s a cowboy.” Women voters, he purportedly added, “should like me! I do manicures.”

The article appeared under the byline of Carl Cameron, who has been following Mr Kerry on the campaign trail. It had been posted on the site, the network said in a statement, because of “fatigue and bad judgment, rather than malice.”

I am all for people cutting through the nonsense. But is that his core expertise? I sort of doubt it. There are real efforts regarding that, for example whole college courses: https://callingbullshit.org/index.html

But, may be he does have some useful insider knowledge. So this is a wait and see kinda thing.

Speaking of ex Fauxers,

An interesting point of view in a similar vein to pointing out the debatability surrounding the value of the gravitational constant.

Oh, please. For a couple thousand years, the main principle of governing has been to provide the people with bread and circus. That emphasis shifts of course, Obama focused on bread, following the age-old adage that political consciousness starts in the belly. Trump, in contrast, has been all about the programming. Admittedly, quite poor programming, but still what the shitshow lacks in integrity or quality is more than adequately replaced by quantity. A 24/7 shitshow if you will. That’s just how those people roll.
