I read RedState regularly -bear with me here- and I am pleasantly surprised. Granted, it’s a haven for all manner of fascists, haters and nutcases, etc, etc and I defend none of it. But as RedState diarists go Leon is far more thoughtful than most, and on occasion he cuts through the ideological chest-thumping with something of genuine insight and actual value. This is bound to be a controversial choice over there and I am very curious to see how it plays out.

I loathe redstate for its complete barring of any contrary opinions. I sincerely tried to contribute under several consecutive usernames, but was bumped off for the mildest evidence of being liberal.

That has been their trademark for years, pretty much since its inception. Its not even a hint of being liberal (which will surely get you banned), but if you are new poster and daring to disagree with ANYTHING, that’s sufficient…all in the name of purity.

On the other hand,I can completely relate to this:
