Discussion: Erick Erickson’s Mom Says The Family Didn’t Boycott Asian Food For Pearl Harbor

he’s probably confusing his holiday with Christmas Story… do you suppose he at least get a Red Ryder BB gun?

Once again we can see how the ultra conservatives like Erikson have no room in their lives for any kind of truth whatsoever, More over, it appears that he is lousy at math. In 1942 his 73 year-old mother would have been a newborn – doubtful that she could have any direct memory of Pearl Harbor.

So I guess his mom doesn’t watch him on TV or follow his Twitter, or she’d knew the made up story came from her son. When your mom doesn’t care about what you’re doing…ouch. Lol.

It is a well-known fact that Erick Erickson’s mamma is an Islamofascist fanatic bent on embarrassing her son so that she can hamper his pro-family efforts to protect this Christian nation from the Obama’s Sharia law takeover.

oops … to quote yet another stellar Republican mind.

I wish Gawker had asked Ma Erickson about Erick and the chickens. Oh, those poor chickens. They didn’t even get fried, went to waste they did.

Leave Erick Erickson alone…

And the thing is, talking about Pearl Harbor at all is kind of old-fashioned for today’s forward-looking Republican Party. The only reason we remember the people at Pearl Harbor is because they got all blown up. Today’s GOP likes people that weren’t blown up, OK? I hate ta tell ya.

Eirck Erickson…constantly blending politics with his evangelicalism. And there in lies the true problem of the current-day GOP. They no longer understand the difference between politics and religion. It will be the cause of their demise over time as the younger generation are rejecting religion in significant numbers.

I hear 73 is the new 53, not the new senility as the doting son proclaims.
Odd the son doesn’t address that his cherished moma was actually “children of [significantly post-] WWII”
Could he be a history revisionist?!?

Well there’s a simple explanation…he made the shit up like most of what he says.

27-year-old story, eh? I suppose it’s just an interesting coincidence that reparations to Japanese American internees were approved in 1988.

Gawker should know better than to fact-check a RWNJ. Of course Erickson made it up and of course he denies it by throwing Mom under the bus.

Is he still living in his mom’s basement? I wonder.

So Erick Erickson is a lying asshole who will say anything to “prove” he is right.
What else is new?

Well, at least Trotter was able to have Ms. Erickson self-righteously assume that her religious convictions were superior to his and that he needed an obnoxious lecture about them. That’s what makes Christian fanatics so lovable! We still haven’t resolved the question of why the Ericksons would boycott the food of all Asians, when only Japan was the enemy, but maybe that’s a thing conservatives do too.

Boycotting ANY kind of food does not look like it was a problem in Son Of Erick’s history.
