Bernie bernt that possibility a long time ago. She’d lose as many votes as she would gain by that maneuver: she would look both weak and desperate if she tried it. And the optics of Bernie trying to get her to jump through hoops and hoops on points where they were in basic agreement were dreadful and the endorsement gave her no bounce whatsoever.
