A__holes.
I think that about covers it.
Any other government would fire these guys…
It said on the news yesterday that PERPA went with Whitefish because they only wanted $2 million upfront and their closest competitor wanted $25 million. Is Whitefish taking a huge chance on the broke territory? Or do they know they have a political safety net? One that includes protection for starting a twitter beef with clients?
Who are the owners of Whitefish Energy Holdings? Names important.
It’s the latter. Whitefish knows it will get massive tax payer bailout money when the firm ends up claiming that “no one could have predicted” that the job was beyond its estimates and capabilities. This is a cronyism deal if there ever was one. Zinke had a dark, dirty hand in this deal and there needs to be a full investigation on how the contract was awarded and who signed off on it.
Nice project you’ve got there. It’d be a shame if anything happened to it.
Classy. Predictable, too.
Two million is a big deal for these guys. I read elsewhere that their biggest job up till now was only $1.3 million.
Even if they are really good at subcontracting, $300M is qualitatively different. There is also no reason to believe that the puerto rican power authority is good guys in this.
A lame apology doesn’t mean there shouldn’t be an investigation of why such a tiny company got such a huge no-bid contract.
Whitefish smells fishy.
Tell me again why these clowns warranted getting a $300,000,000 contract?
Whitefish Energy Holdings, a tiny Montana utility company financed by major donors to President Donald Trump, apologized late Wednesday for threatening to withdraw its workers from San Juan in response to remarks by the city’s mayor.
They’re going to bill for that time, aren’t they? They should have never got this contract.
It has a connection to Energy Sec’y Zinke who’s from Montana. It all falls into place once you know that.
If the Democrats take back the House in 2018…
This will just be one scandal out of many that will provide grist for the mill.
Popcorn anyone?
“On behalf of our employees, we would like to apologize for our comments earlier today,”. .
So, that would be both employees, then?
Yes.
The two both of the employees.
The was a reason Whitefish Energy was a two cat outfit. Nobody wanted to be involved with those @$$holes.
Apologize, delete the tweet, whatever. Their point had already been made.
Because they are soooooo professional!
Can someone tell me how you make a comment that does not represent you? Who do you tell some one to fuck off yet not mean fuck off and it not be the real you?
