"D’Souza recounted his own interactions with liberals at Dartmouth, where he once outed gay students on campus in the conservative student paper, the Dartmouth Review.
“None of them really believe in free speech who disagree with them,”
So is the felon claiming that outing gay students is his free speech right? Bastard.
It’s not that conservatives have been forced out of our universities. It’s that they are not interested in teaching. They have other priorities, I guess.
Megyn and the other blondes at Faux drew straws for Friday duty. Megyn drew the long straw, but was unclear on the concept and showed up for work anyway.
Conservatism has become an increasingly extremist, aggressive movement. Like a lot of extremist movements that are on the offensive, they have to invent a “just cause” to supposedly prove how they’re not aggressors, but are merely the victims of some great societal wrong that has forced them to fight back against their oppressors. Even as they help billionaires and corporate executives put another nail in the coffin of the unions, they’ll claim that it was some hapless school teacher who spends her own money on colored pencils for her class and hasn’t had a raise in 5 years who forced them to get nasty. At least D’Souza’s own personal moral and ethical failings make it easy to prove the corruption of the whole wingnut welfare system. What a weasel-eyed little shit.
The problem has always been the fact that education, research, data collection, exploration and analysis almost always leads to logical refutation of dogmatic conservative horse shit. So it’s a threat to them. This isn’t an issue of some radical plot to infiltrate the education system by “the left” to destroy the country from the inside out so much as it is an issue of conservatives fearing being exposed as the giant fraud that much of their ideology relies on when facts come to light. See: ‘trickle-down economics’. Or study American history (hint: it’s bloody, and has been marred by genocide, slavery, bigotry and misogyny among other equally terrible things). Conservatives can’t wrap their heads around the fact that the U.S. isn’t infallible and that cultural evolution rolls on regardless of how much they whine. Dinesh is a lunatic and a criminal who shouldn’t be awarded air time for anything.
By all means… educators should draw their inspiration from the modern day oracle Roger Ailes where we learn that lowering taxes will always increase revenue and water-boarding early and often promotes freedom. Then for the pure intellectual challenge we can teach the kids the ‘Bengazi Game’ where we try to tie any current event back to the events of 9/11/12 in the fewest leaps of logic. (played much like the Kevin Bacon movie game)
Dinesh D’Felon and Megyn Kelly are both professional victims----and professional liars.
D’Felon is especially stupid—in that exclusively conservative way that makes them proud of it----and delights in projecting his lack of intelligence onto others.
His “thinking” is always deeply superficial and lacking in anything resembling a factual basis.
This is why he’s such a favorite of the anti-education far-right nutbars who watch FoxNews and read his execrable books and listen to his mewling complaints about how liberals are ruining his beautiful fascist dream world.
You know, IF college professors were indoctrinating students with liberal hocus-pocus (they aren’t) and IF students couldn’t think for themselves (they can) they might have a legitimate bitch here.
Waaah teachers are liberal for like the eleventy-umpteen millionth time in the last 40 years? More tired, hackneyed, chewed-over twaddle from Dinesh D’Snouza.
