Discussion: Donald Trump's Net Worth Is Reportedly $9 Billion

Discussion for article #237466

Should he announce that he’s running for President, Trump would likely use the disclosure to prove that he can translate success in the boardroom to the Oval Office.

Sure, like the casinos that went bankrupt. Then, again, Republicans always bankrupt anything they get their hands on. Ask George Bush.

Since he’s worth 9 Billion he can hand, say, half of half of it to the government.

Investment opportunity: Buy Trump for what he’s worth. Sell him for what he thinks he’s worth. You’ve locked in a large and sure profit!!

This is how you know he’s not really running for President. The King of Bankruptcy just wants it out there what he thinks he’s worth. It’s always been part of his schtick. Financial disclosure including tax records for the last 5-10 years are a prerequisite in running and winning the Presidency now. You have to be an open book to some degree. That’s not in the cards for this Trump. Its also why RMoney never made it past 47% of the voters. No disclosure, no Oval Office. Now fuck off Donald…

Yeah. Sure…

Inherited his father’s money. Filed for bankruptcy at least a half dozen times.

Now says he is worth $9 billion, with a B…sorry not buying it!

Is this a declaration that’s legally binding in any way, for any purpose? I’d think the IRS would be interested to know how a person amassed that amount. Capital gains, interest, investment income, etc. Seems some of it would fall into their jurisdiction.

Donald Trump may have 9 billion. That doesn’t make him worth it.
