There was never any doubt about whether or not Obama’s mother was American. So, where are the right wing truthers now that Cruz is running. So even if Obama was born in Kenya, which he wasn’t, no one should have questioned his citizenship. It would appear that having an African father is anathema, but having a Cuban father is fine.

While I think the courts would rule that Cruz is American born, it is still not clear to me what the fathers really meant by “natural born citizen”.
