Discussion: Donald Sterling Is a Registered Republican

There are those among us who believe that UFG is a EG/Beej sockpuppet, yes.

Where do you go to get great schadenfreude? I’ve been having trouble finding regular schadenfreude, much less extra crispy.

That’s how I treated him just for funsies and now he’s sending me personal messages. Guess he doesn’t like playing his own game.

Sterling is such a strong Republican in fact that he gets the (RRR) designation,

Sterling (RRR) Radially Racist Republican

Seriously? UFG is sending you personal messages? I;m nit sure how to read that.

Well, just to Leftflank but in the form of a letter, not a reply?

The National Review: It’s better for our correction to be incorrect than to admit that Sterling is a registered Republican.

I believe TPM has covered Gurbaksh Chahal. But this story is about Donald Sterling – you know the racist scumbag who happens to be a Republican?

You mean he’s sending you a message using Discourse’s “Private Message” feature? That’s no biggie. I communicate with a few folks myself via that. If you consider it to be harassment that’s another thing entirely.

I guess so, that was a first for me. It’s not harassment, it’s just that he got kind of crazy and tried to get me to respond to him in several ways and I couldn’t care less if he’s unhappy. The guy says some pretty foul crap and is just p’oed because he got it back.

In an IQ sense, self-identified conservatives have the same intelligence as self-identified liberals or moderates at least in a normative sense.
Self-ID’d conservatives think differently. I call it “binary” thinking: yes/no, right/wrong, black/white. They cannot do nuanced thinking.

All across the 'net, the right just can’t come to grips with him being a Republican. Acceptance and responsibility are hard for them. They grab the anchor, not a life vest, when the ship is going down.

If it bothers you I suppose you should just flag it and then choose the last option to alert a moderator. The tell them why you’re flagging him

UFG is a sockpuppet of EG? Completely different game there. Night and day.

As Benoit Benjamin once opined about the loyal Clippers followers, “I don’t give a sh-t about the fans”.

It lets them forget about anything that is happening that makes the gop look bad for the moment. Plain and simple.

Republicans are in a difficult spot.

On the one hand, they’ve got a Teabagger base full of racists, bigots, homophobes and xenophobes who are threatening secession because that’s how much they hate the black guy in the White House.

On the other, they’re dealing with a demographic reality that threatens to make them electorally irrelevant if they stick with the Teabagger racists, bigots, homophobes and xenophobes and ignore everyone else.

And once again, when Republican dogma (Cliven Bundy, Donald Sterling) is proved flat wrong, Republicans react not with self-reflection and reconsideration, rather they try to suppress the proof that their dogma has been proved flat wrong. Because if they’re going to be flat wrong, they might as well be dishonest about it too.

Quit trying to change the subject, Biff.

I love the smell of conservative desperation in the morning.

Ummm. Who’s Gurbaksh Chahal? And what’s radiumone? What’s the story exactly? Awful guy attacks girlfriend, immediately gets fired and will likely do time? Troll on, brother.
