Whiskey Tango Foxtrot. Nobody cares what Cruz was charged with as a teenager. This is entirely irrelevant to anything and says more about the nature of opposition research than any thing else.

Well, there are things a politician could have been charged with as a teen that would be relevant later–murder, rape, arson, child abuse, animal abuse, that kind of thing. But underage drinking? Please.

I heard he once liked a girl. It was High School. He had his friend ask her friend to find out if she liked him because he wanted her to invite him to the Sadie Hawkins dance, but didn’t want to look stupid asking her to ask him out. But she thought that Ted’s approach was “totally immature” and asked out an upperclassman who jumped at the opportunity to potentially nail a freshman.

Actually if it was Canadian Whiskey he would have been in big trouble with his base…but it was beer, so he’s fine.
