No Good Cause Exists To Fire Robert Mueller Now (or ever)

Welcome to the Oval Trailer shit list, Rod…

Rosenstein may not see “good cause” but Trump certainly does and certain members of his maladministration, including family members. Republicans will have to invent something.

No more Saturday Night Massacres. Or any other day of week or time of day for that matter…

Wow, this combined with the Alabama Senate race, is going to put Trump in a great mood.

In other news, Pope wears funny hat, bears poop in woods, people like the smell of their own farts and Rosenstein just became a major target of Faux News propaganda.

I think he is doing a good job of fending off the fake outrage of the Rs. His calm answers and denial of any further details (when correct) is impressive.

I believe that once an “R” goes after someone’s name their listening comprehension level is slashed in half…at least.

Since Rosenstein is the only person who can fire Mueller, I don’t think Trump is getting rid of the special investigator.

Still, a pretty big shot across the lowbrow.

I don’t think PP is going to be able to find anyone to fire Mueller unless he dives far down into the rank and file at DOJ. At this point, I think you’d lose your Bar Card if you agreed to do it because you’d be clearly committing obstruction of justice.

He will be in REALLY good company (Not the Pope…but Rosenstein)

Just read (somewhere, sorry) a theory that Cobb wants to undermine Mueller, delegitimize the probe, without actually firing him, which he considers too dangerous. Object would be to stay in the game politically, minimize the damage. Obviously they’ve been doing that all along, so strategically the theory I guess mostly says they’re stopping short of firing.

FOXNews is ramping up the Fusion GPS DOJ “scandal”. the FBI agent who wrote that Trump is an idiot “scandal” etc. They have the old Benghazi/Clinton email playbook out in full effect. They know perfectly well how to do this.

But here’s what isn’t being said: If the argument is that anyone who has ever voted or contributed to a campaign can’t be fair in an investigation, then those who supported Trump can’t be fair either as they would have a pro-Trump bias. That means the FBI could only utilize officers, attorneys, investigators, etc. who were totally apolitical their entire lives. As obvious as that is, it should be stated.

He could ask Mrs Moore for help convincing Rosenstein. She’s good with “Jews.” Just ask her.

Dear Rod Rosenstein,

Here is a link to the Washington D.C. Department of Employment Services:

You will need this within the next few days. Enjoy your journey to the next adventure in life!

Love,

Ken in MN

So the strategy depends on subtlety, nuance, and cohesion from the highest levels of the executive branch?

Sure, that should go great.

No good cause…says Rosenstein…the Trump appointed, and unanimously confirmed by Senate Republicans, assistant AG.

Ironically, one of the six Dem voting against was Elizabeth Warren. Trump was too busy calling her Pocahontas to notice. If only he could see the irony. He wont see the irony that by appointing Sessions as AG…he lost a Senate seat.
