In response the democrats propose the “Steve Stockman Waste-of-Time Act,” which among other things lists the number of people in Stockbear’s district who’ve exhausted their unenployment benetits while he does shit like this.

perhaps someone could introduce a bill requiring dictionaries to add a picture next to the definition of stupid in all languages… in rotating order… Steve Stockman, Louis Ghomert, Steve King or name your own… a picture is worth a 1000 words?

His entire 2 year term has been a blaze of trolling. I wouldn’t characterize it as glory though. He’s been an embarrassment to his district. I know. I live in it.

You have my deepest sympathy.
Maybe he’ll be unable to find a way to make a living there and have to move, thereby making your life much sunnier and more pleasant.
Plus, that would remove the pressure on you to slap Stockman silly the next time you see him—saving you a buttload of legal fees, too.

bd, I can sympathize. I live in Arizona where we have lots of people in government who are the equal of Steve Stockman in terms of loonyness. A decade ago a lady state rep. from Jerome, AZ came to the University of Arizona and insisted she be able to examine dorm room and do a “white glove test” then she tried to get computers removed from campus because, she said, the kids were looking at porn. Then she tried to get a bill passed that women would be required to wear “poodle skirts” on campus. Those are skirts ironed in such a way as to be pleated. A style popular in the early 1950’s.
So Stockman has no corner on “weird” in politics.
