Discussion: Dems Release Claims That Jackson Drank On Job, Totaled Government Car

According to the report: “Jackson was described as ‘the most unethical person I have ever worked with,’ ‘flat-out unethical,’ ‘explosive,’ ‘100 percent bad temper,’ ‘toxic,’ ‘abusive,’ ‘volatile,’ ‘incapable of not losing his temper,’ ‘the worst officer I have ever served with,’ ‘despicable,’ ‘dishonest,’ as having ‘screaming tantrums’ and “screaming fits,’ as someone who would ‘lose his mind over small things,’ ‘vindictive,’ ‘belittling,’ ‘the worse leader I’ve ever worked for.’”

So…the perfect Trump nominee.

He sounds like he might be powerless over alcohol and his life has become unmanageable.

Whoa! This is bad. Note that the Democrats on the Veteran Affairs Committee released the summary.

“Jackson was reportedly an abusive and explosive boss, prone to ingratiate himself with his superiors while mistreating his underlings.”

Among those of us who deal with such issues, this is a familiar pattern. Doesn’t mean that the description is accurate as to Jackson, but if it is, he would hardly be unique.

The only thing more Schadenfreudelicious would be if the the summary reveals which members of Trump’s White House staff got candy from Dr. Feelgood.

Dolt45 says it’s unpatriotic to bring this negative stuff up about his nominee who flattered him enough to get nominated for the second largest bureaucracy in the government.

“Vindictive, despicable, dishonest, explosive, flat-out unethical …”

For Trump, these are features, not bugs.

Jackson had denied the car accident, saying it will be easy to find out the truth. Hmmm.

Maybe he just doesn’t remember wrecking the car.

Wow, add this to the Roy Moore file. There’s some Dems out there who have come to play.

Kiss-up kick-down. Just like Bomber Bolton. This administration is a magnet for malevolence.

Is he going to say he can’t recall when asked about it? He’s not throwing in the towel. He claims he wants to clear his name.

Can you imagine the GOP shitshow if a Dem nominated a clown like this? Fucking christ…

We certainly saw the ingratiating behavior when he presented the results of Trump’s physical earlier this year. Definitely a PHD performance, and I don’t mean a doctoral degree.

I don’t want to just pile on, and we really do have Obama to “blame” for Ronny being put in charge of the White House medical staff, but this just jumped out at me [emphasis added]:

“I have not wrecked a car. I can tell you that.”

The “I can tell you that” just sounds SO like Trump, so of course it made me parse the sentence even more. According to the letter, “Jackson got drunk and wrecked a government vehicle.” So, maybe it wasn’t a “car” making Ronny’s statement technically true.

If PHD means he was high when he did that statement, that’s what I thought at the time.
