Deliciously BLUE evening last night, Dems should keep up this momentum right up until next November! Oh, and there’s this…

Maybe “Make American Great Again” for the new slogan?!

I like this article a lot better than the one-year of Donnie Dumbfuck article.

Remember this election when people want to impeach Trump. Let him stay at least through the mid-terms.

Blood in the water? Ok, just so it’s not ours in 2018.

Believe me, I am beyond thrilled about yesterdays election results, but the Dem’s as a whole, still need to really get their shit together to make the change we all so desperately need…

“It’s looking like the urban areas are just a huge problem for us and I don’t know what the answer is yet.”

Start with stopping being fact-free lying racist sexist fascists.

Now that would be a pivot, but since that attitude is at the heart of their ideology, it will never happen.

Your suggestion shows that you are a hell of a lot smarter than them!!

Yes I am.

(Now go ahead and call me an elitist… :expressionless: :smirk:)

Yes – and maybe start paying attention to our needs as well as just those in the rural districts. For christ’s sake, more than half the people in the U.S. live in urban areas. I know many people who would likely be Republicans (albeit not conservative ones) if the GOP would start treating us ALL like equal human beings and start standing up to the likes of big oil, big pharma and the NRA.

I’m gratified an election finally turned out in Democrats favor, but I hope we don’t get overly confident. A lot of work ahead to make sure victory is repeated a year from now. That means good candidates for all districts, even gerrymandered one’s like mine (Ohio 2nd).

A great result, but definitely no time for complacency. It is essential to build on this momentum, eliminate, or at least minimize, internecine strife and have everyone pull in the same direction heading into 2018. It took six years of Dubya for the Democrats to rise up and take back the Senate and the House. Trump should be able to accomplish that in a quarter of the time.

Republicans smell it as well, that’s why the rash of retirements. They all want out of the water before the sharks show up.

I am certain you’re correct, but, in general, it is best not to offer useful advice to one’s political opponents. I am pretty sure it was Napoleon who said: “Never interrupt your enemy when he’s making a mistake.” Let them be fascists and racists and misogynistic creeps… we’ll leave them on the ash heap of history.

“Just showing up is half the battle.” Amazing what can happen when you compete for all the seats and get your people out to the polls. Amount of Dems already committed to running in 2018 is the largest in years so that is a good start. Now get people to the polls next year and keep this blue wave going.

After Dubya screwed up the world I thought the Dems would be in control for many years but some how they blew it.
Please don’t smell blood or party. Just put your heads down and work.
Our Country needs you to be fair to all and cure this cancer that is infecting us.

Democrats Smell Blood In The Water For 2018 After Tuesday’s Electoral Romp

I’ve looked at the results from Virginia… I think the headline is misleading… It is unclear to me that there’s any water at all mixed in with all that blood.

So. Much. Winning.

Tired yet?

Good analysis of this, and Trump’s bizarre self-defeating actions (all taken to simply give himself a warm fuzzy):
