Sessions says he met the Russian in his capacity as Senator and not as surrogate. That is something he should have told Franken when he was ask the question. His failure to disclose disqualifies him from his post. Bet he doesn’t resign.

Democrats need to rehearse their refrain now.
How about “Worse than Benghazi!”?

Boom! Goes the dynamite.

Except there was never a single instance of HRC or her team lying to congress or anyone else about Benghazi. The closest thing to a lie was the initial thought that the attack might be tied to a video but that was quickly walked back.

Sessions is going to replace John Mitchell at the top of the Pantheon of corrupt, crony Attorney Generals.

I have always thought that as he aged, Sessions has begun to resemble Andrei Gromyko more and more.

This is astounding! Lying is no longer the exception - it’s the rule. And their base not only accepts this, they relish in it because they “still win.” Every time your party wins in this manner, democracy loses. Death by a thousand cuts.

I tend to think its more like the devolution of Smeagol into what is now clearly, Gollum.

Clinton was impeached for lying to congress about a blowjob. But he was a Democrat.

But he didn’t discuss the election; they talked baseball. Can I interest you in purchasing some fine beachfront property in Kansas City?

C’mon people, as all seasoned members of congress know, ambassadors are rarely, if ever, spies!

He may not resign but PeePee will cut him loose if it’s politically expedient to do so. PeePee has no loyalty and the reason Sessions is such a useful tool is that, as AG, he could quash investigations and provide cover to PeePee and his minions of traitors. When Sessions moves from the Plus column to the Minus column, his usefulness is over and so is he.

He was impeached by a cabal of adulterous Republicans lead by career adulterer Henry Hyde, and by Dan Burton, who was having an affair with an office intern even as he served on the Clinton Impeachment, and who also gave the world David Bossie, to whom we owe part of our gratitude for the hit job done on Hillary this past election. Silly Democrats, Kinky Extramarital Sex, and Treason are OK if you are Republican.

Hard for me to be able to tell at this early moment if this story has the heft to bring some real pain to Foghorn Leghorn, I mean sessions, and any of the other Looney tunes in this awful administration. They’ve shown themselves to be shameless and oblivious to law breaking, just say “fake news” and change the subject and I wonder if this won’t be the same. Huffpo is certainly blaring this one from the heavens…but they also said “She’s got this”. So I’m intrigued, but confused and not entirely optimistic.

Where is the press on Wilbur Ross and his part ownership of the bank of Cyprus, part of which is owned by Russian oligarch and Putin bagman with close ties to Trump (bought several Trump properties at inflated prices). Is anybody working on the mirror trades running through the Russian branch of Deutchebank to move oligarch money to where? Bank of Cyprus. Deutchebank audit said no money from Russia went to Trump in the form of loans seriously? Wilbur Ross now DOC sec. What does that mean?

& since the impeachment was not ratified by the Senate, he “Got away with it.” Limbaugh made a bfd of Bill Clinton lying under oath at the time. Today he will say the opposite. Hide and watch.

I don’t think its tin foil hat territory. There are a ton of very valid questions that need to be brought up and answered.

And I am willing to bet that once investigations start into the money trails, this entire house of cards will crumble rapidly. And it IS going to go there at some point…far too much big money being bantered around in these stories for it to all stay hidden.

My guess is that at some point, we find out that it wasn’t mere coincidence that Trump’s staff looks like it was handpicked to be extremely favorable to Russia while also maximizing the amount of chaos that is created domestically. That much of his administration was picked in the Kremlin.
