So this was a slow rolling blue wave, with some storm surge at the back end. I love that we get the good news in drips because it just keeps the win at the top of the news and keeps lardass seething.
California. If you didnât have to net $100k a year just to live under a bridge it might be a nice place to relocate to.
Is there a real Republican party anymore? There are a lot of Trumpers but I havenât seen a traditional Republican in quite a while.
Second question. Is the Trumper party sustainable without the help of at least some traditional Republicans?
It seems the suburbs, the bastion of the kind of Republicanism that was ascendant during most of my life, are turning blue.
What a sensible woman wanting to roll back those corporate/rich tax cuts, for universal health care and background checks for gun buying.
Glad youâre on the Dem team!
What was is somebody said once? âThe times they are a changinâ.â
Nope, Nada. Niente. Nicht.
Ha ha. Opinions are easy. Guess youâve never lived in CA. Thatâs a good thing for the people of CA, obviously. I lived there for years, loved it.
But wait, thereâs more!!!
The last district to be called in Orange County, CA39, is going to be won by Gil Cisneros, a Democrat.
This means that all 7 districts that cover ORANGE COUNTY CALIFORNIA will be held by DEMOCRATS!!!
Orange County California is blue!!!
Trump achieved his goal of GOP unity.
Youâll find them on the unemployment line.
Ya know, I am good with that. LOL
âAnd the first one now will later be lastâŚâ
Hopefully sooner than later.
you forgot âNyetâ
Whatâs really amazing and not mentioned is that balance of seats in CA was achieved without gerrymandering. If Democrats in CA had the ability to redistrict as they saw fit, I imagine there would be no Republican representatives from that state. Texas had to go to gerrymandering extremes to get their 23R 13D.
My main issue during my time in SoCal was the entire fam on the other coast. That and the job transfer that bought us there became a job transfer back east so we deal with snow. I hate the Cali bashing though.
Mitt Romney and Jeff Flake are going to ride in on white horses (in their magic undies) to save the Republican party. Or at least thatâs what they see in their dreams.
Da
So I guess weâre gonna have to come up with something other than âthe O.C.â when we mean âthe O.C.â
Love it. I lived in the 45th for 30 years. I figured weâd see the twelfth of never before the district would ever elect a Democrat.
