I suspect there may be an elected Republican or two in the Va State House (not many, though) who are amenable to meeting their colleagues on the left side of the aisle in the middle. This trend bodes well for more common sense. Not peaches and cream but definitely gives us the upper hand.

@alphadad - Exactly, the GOP base understands this fully and though small in numbers their voice is magnified because far to often liberals are simply to busy to vote.

I also wouldn’t be surprised if there are a couple Republicans in VA watching the tide turning their state from purple to deep blue and thinking maybe it’s time to switch parties. The exact opposite is happening here.
