This was always a no-win scenario, except for Putin and Trump. What should have happened is that Trump didn’t meet with him at all as a sign of US displeasure at the cyber warfare against us, but Trump is a traitor. Of course he was going to go in with Tillerson and kiss Putin’s ass.
This son of a bitch can’t be removed from office in absolute disgrace fast enough for me.
As an aside, Tillerson really does come across as a consummate empty suit. This son of a bitch represent the United States in foreign relations? He was put in place simply to cash in on the oil deal for Exxon and to enrich Trump at the same time. Disgusting.
The republicans these days remind me of Tom Lehrer’s line in his song about Werner von Braun: “A man who’s allegiance is ruled by expedience.” Or, in this case, an entire party’s allegiance.
With Trump in power, the republican party daily betrays patriotism for power, and evidently don’t experience the slightest hesitation or self-disgust in dong so.
That’s not my point. My point in that statement is that no matter how Trump reacts to ANY situation or subject, the democRATS are always going to say he’s wrong and criticize his actions. He could say the Pope is Catholic and they’d argue the point. The democRATS are leading the country in causing and promoting division.
